Sounds like these are the lines at practice.

Ponikarovsky Henrique Kovalchuk

Pesonen Elias Clarkson

Carter Zajac Bernier

Sheesh I am not liking the looks of that so much.  Just hoping Loki's injury is not serious and Zubrus comes back soon.

Its not ideal but its not awful. Zajac line will most likely try to shutdown the Nash line, Elias line will go against the Callahan line, and Henrique line will go against the Stepan line. Just need to play a good structured game until Lokti and Zubs returns.

Havlat is key

Havlat's been awful but the Sharks have no offensive forward depth.  They aren't going to trade Havlat midseason to the Devils for spare parts, it would take someone like Henrique or another offensive weapon to get Havlat.

maybe they could get Henrique for him if they threw in Brent Burns or Joe Pavelski aka the Devils would laugh at them for Henrique for Havlat. One's 7 years younger and better already

Which is why a trade to NJ will never happen unless the Sharks give up on the year and decide to save money.

did anyone ever find out what had actually happened to him? I feel like every time there is an injury they try to keep it secret so no one knows what's going on. ..kind of annoying.

Button tweeted today that he was wrong on it being 23 games dressed for accruing a season towards UFA, it's 23 games on the roster, which makes way more sense.  Button was the source of McKenzie believing it was 23 games dressed, which lead to everyone getting it wrong.

Your unconditional rejection of violence makes you smugly think of yourselves as noble, as enlightened, but in reality it is nothing less than abject moral capitulation to evil. Unconditional rejection of self-defense, because you think its a supposed surrender to violence, leaves you no resort but begging for mercy or offering appeasement.
