So with Sullivan coming back and being the 24th player re-acquired by the Devils. Would be interesting to go through the list and see which ones we're actually worth it.

Gary McAdam, Corey Schwab, Brendan Shanahan, Ken Sutton, Petr Sykora, Chris Terreri, Alexander Mogilny, Krzystof Oliwa, Alexei Ponikarovsky, Pascal Rheaume, Stephane Richer, Brian Rolston, Mike Rupp, Anssi Salmela, Tommy Albelin, Jason Arnott, Scott Clemmensen, Jim Dowd, Bobby Holik, Jay Leach, Claude Lemieux, Vladimir Malakhov.

what do you guys think? who was worth the comeback?

Not going to credit TG's Twitter for compiling the list??

Best was Lemieux. None of the others really mattered much.

Only Ken Holland "may" have something on Lou in the entire league or even history of the league... he's certainly not a failure

Sykora was a good resigning as of late.

Schwab helped us in 2003 and Lemieux was the best of course.

He's definitely coming back. He'll be our "major signing" two years from now.

I would say a whole bunch of them worked.

Corey Schwab and Scott Clemmensen were excellent in their returns as Devils backups. Shanahan was a nice addition to the 2009 team. The only problem became when Sutter decided a line of him with Madden and Pandolfo should be used as a shutdown line and be played 17-20 min a night. Pascal Rheaume was a fine depth player for the 2003 Cup winning team. So was Albelin and for a few years after that. No complaints with Dowd or Rupp with their returns either.

Claude Lemieux worked well out but the Devils traded a lot for him. The bad ones for me are the bad ones for everyone. The two Ms, Arnott, and to a lesser extend, Holik.

"The Stanley Cup has fallen from the Stars. The new millennium has its first Stanley Cup Champion, and it's the New Jersey Devils." Mike Miller calling the Devils winning the Stanley Cup.

"It goes to the captain and then there are handoffs during a skate around the ice" Mike Emrick as Scott Stevens is being presented the Stanley Cup.
