As of right now, it looks like Jordan Subban will go in the 1st half of the 2nd round.

Besides the three Subban brothers they have a cousin, Marselis Subban, who is draft elgible in 2014. Though I don't think he is as much of a prospect as the other 3 were/are...maybe he can be their Jared Staal.

he's a big Kovalchuk fan

Subban, who is regarded as having one of the better shots from the point in this year's draft class, considers himself an offensive-minded defenseman. After all, he's a tremendous admirer of New Jersey Devils forward Ilya Kovalchuk.

"I remember when I was younger, I used to watch highlights of [Kovalchuk] on YouTube … he was one of the most exciting players," Subban said. "I remember when he was playing in Atlanta he had a couple of amazing end-to-end rushes. I just like watching him and the way he plays. He has so much energy."

I remember watching him in the Prospects Game a few months ago, and honestly he looked atrocious. We also have too many defensemen right now.

Mtl has like 3 2nd round picks. I can't see them not picking him knowing they can afford picks like that.
