Still very possible we end up at 9, if we can just stay at 9 or 10 i'm happy, if we somehow end up at 12th then i'll be bummed.

ah damn we have the tiebreaker on sabres with the ROW... godamnit. our only hope is that we lose tomorrow and that phily win.

Gotta focus on all those GREAT players who got drafted in the middle of the pack and ended up awesome like Giroux or wtv....

Giroux was more like 22nd ovr I think, or something in the 20's

More closer to our pick wise, Erik Karlsson, just as a forward. you van pretty much though class Karlsson as a forward though.

He was picked 15th ovr

Yeah yeah what i meant is that you never know we could pick a guy 12th or someone picking 24th could endup with the best player in the long run

If we lose in regulation to the Rangers, only the Flyers game matters tonight cause our spot in the lottery would be 9 or 10.  If we get at least a point, only the Phoenix/Dallas games matter cause our range would be 10-12.

the rangers absolutely have something to play for regarding seeding so they're not gonna be disinterested. hopefully moose is moose.

lets hope philly gets a point at least

i guess all we can hope for is that Shinkaruk or Monahan, NIchushkin or Lindholm fall to us.

edit: so at this point we have either 2.1 or 2.7% of chances to win the lottery

i dont know why so many people are rooting for the flyers.  i understand it would give us one spot up in the draft but i hope hope that all of you guys' hatred for the flyers would be so high that you would never even consider rooting for them.

now we may have to deal with flyers fans saying they finished higher than us... i do not want that. fvck

The Devils getting to pick before the Flyers in this deep draft is well worth them getting a meaningless victory.

Well yeah that's the only thing, finishing in last for the first time in over 25 years is a bit of a black mark but hey, if they didn't care about it (and they didn't today), why should I?

"The Devils have high standards, that's the difference. We have a standard to live up to every year, and a couple of teams in our area don't have the standards we do." - Pat Burns

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03
