I think I heard individual boxes can be had for like $5,000 a game?   Anyone know if that's true?   Not sure if food and drink is included or if it's even accurate what I was told.

They have much cheaper options. It all depends upon the opponent, day of week and the amount of people you're bringing.

I liked the own bathroom CAA had for the suites. The Rock suites are nice and I agree with ATLL the games on TV added the atmosphere. Withcorporate guests the whole thing makes you feel part of a premium version of the game, which is the point.

Possibly.  I remember a couple years ago someone -- might've even been you -- looked into it because we were discussing maybe having a "NJDevs Night In A Box". We determined that even with splitting the cost 40 ways (or however many people you can fit in there), it still would've been prohibitive for most people.

IT IS VERY HARD TO WIN ONE STANLEY CUP, FORGET ABOUT THREE... and maybe it's high time some of you actually APPRECIATED THAT instead of treating it like it's some flipping birthright because for some random reason you rooted for the damn Devils!!!!! Posted Image

price of the box ranges but "full freight" is $200/ticket with 20 tickets - that has no food.

but if you pick a weekday game against a weaker opponent, you could get food/seats for $2500-$3000

Things have moved pretty quickly with Josh Harrris' group/Devils. NHL Board of Govs vote to approve sale expected to be completed by Thurs.

We have a new owner, ladies and gentlemen.

Told sale price of the Devils, which includes Pru. Center operating rights, to Josh Harris and co. is "well in excess of $300 million."

Wonder if Chambers and Co. are kicking themselves, sounds like JVB is going to make a profit after all.

Ny Times reporting the sale is for 320 million.

Apparently O'Neill would take control of off ice operations but Lou would remain president and CEO. Seems like a win win as many fans want a better team-fan relationship

Chambers didn't have the whole team or the arena to sell.  I doubt Jeff would have sold his share plus the arena to him at the time Chambers got out, or that Jeff would have felt compelled to sell it all if Chambers didn't pull out.  It took him long enough to decide to sell running on a shoestring budget anyway.

"The Devils have high standards, that's the difference. We have a standard to live up to every year, and a couple of teams in our area don't have the standards we do." - Pat Burns

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

I'm told Devils' sale to Josh Harris' group received approval of NHL's Board of Governors today. Official announcement coming tomorrow.
