WOW, how bad are the Canucks?  Can you say rock bottom?

I think the team they played would have issues with your observation...

The canucks. Jesus. I love seeing anything torts touches go to hell. Lack is awful, markstrom is worse. Thanks for your franchise goalie.

I really glad peverly is ok. Apparently when he came to he asked how many minutes left in the period and wanted back in lol. I wonder what this does for his career?

I'm sick and fvcking tired of this sh!t. Every night there are about 2 or 3 games that make you want to kick a hole in the nearest wall. Some of these comebacks defy logic.

I'm telling you, it'll be much easier on your health the next few weeks to just focus on the devils getting wins. Consider any help on the oot scoreboard an added bonus, because there's rarely gonna be a night where everything goes our way.

Pretty much what dmann said.  You'll make yourself crazy otherwise, and let's face it, we know 3-point games seem to have a way of happening a lot.  We basically know the Devils have to come up with 23-25 points the rest of the way to have a good shot...I still think 92 points gets it done, mostly because no one seems to be capable of going on a real "unconscious" run...including the Devils.  Fortunately, as long as the Devils can avoid 2 or 3 losses in a row, they don't have to go THAT crazy.

Another busy standings night tonight, regardless.

THE NHL MUST LOVE THE DEVILS - from who else? A RANGER fan!
[Mark Messier]: A big, bald attention whore with a stupid Easter Island-lookin face. - from who else? DaneykoIsGod!

Even when Marty comes back maybe Larry should put Clemmensen to be on the goal during the shootouts.
Can the coach do that ? Switch the goalies 5 seconds to go in overtime?
- Most priceless quote ever posted on a message board.

Martin Brodeur: THE MOST ALL-TIME WINS!, 12 straight seasons of 30+ wins, 3 Stanley Cups, 4 Vezina Trophies, and zero respect from too many so-called Devils "fans" who are either too young or too bandwagon to remember the much darker days of Sean Burke, Craig Billington, Bob Sauve, Alain Chevrier, and the talented but overwhelmed Chico Resch, among many others.

It's easy to support a great player when he's playing at his very best. It takes a true fan to support that same player during those rare moments and stretches when he's not. Babe Ruth went 0-4 some games, and sometimes Wayne Gretzky was held pointless. There may be such a thing as greatness, but no such thing as absolute perfection every single night.

Of course its driving us crazy but it's like an accident, you simply can't look away. It's like you want to know really how bad things can get and go against us

Tnight we'll quite possibly lose in regulation, Rangers/Canes + Caps/Pens + Red Wings/Blue Jackets will all go in OT and the leafs will somehow beat the Sharks.

if i'be be a proline guy i'd totally get this scenario just so at least i can get a little bit of money if things go wrong for the devils

Well I mean, with all due respect to the Isles, they're pretty bad ESPECIALLY without JT.  There's no way that team should score 7 goals in a period on any team in this league.

We just need Toronto to lose to San Jose.  And then it'll be a perfect night.

Just...thank you Columbus-Detroit for not going to OT. Rangers lost. Philly lost. Looks like the Caps are going to lose. Devils won. Can't do it much better than that.

Enormous night for us with the Detroit-Jackets game only being a 2 pointer (so we tie Detroit though prob lose the tiebreaker)

Rags lose. We gain two on them. We gain two on Philly obviously. Pens up 2-0 on Washington late in the 3rd so hopefully that holds

What tonight did is open up other avenues for us to make the playoffs. The wild card is no longer the only door to go through. We are 2 behind Columbus for the WC and only 2 behind Philly and 3 behind the Rags. Plus we still play the Rags

I am not ready to be concerned about Toronto. When we pull within 4 points it will be appropriate.

If they hit a cold streak, we can still catch them.  Right now, Boston and Pittsburgh are the two teams I say are out of reach.
