Fire someone, cut someone, or trade someone. The season isn't lost yet, but we're on a slippery slope. Find some life in this squad, somehow.

I don't care if he was playing goal, Tedenby threw the puck away. He didn't even look he just threw it out of his way like it was a grenade and it has nothing to do with covering for a defenseman. I counted at least 3 times Zajac picked up a puck in his own zone on a defensive breakdown and he didn't heave it out blindly. It's about being aware of what you're doing with the puck in all zones in all situations and Tedenby didn't do that which is why he's in the doghouse among other things.

Zajac is an awful comparison.   He's sound enough that he could actually BE a defenseman

I feel like Gionta is out there literally every time I look, the whole 4th line for that matter. Big faceoff in your own end with 3 minutes left? Gionta. Need to score to answer back after CBJ score? Gionta. Does DeBoer not know that Gio is the worst faceoff man in the league?

Well this game is proving the Rangers kinda suck eh ?

They are terrible now, but they have the ability to turn it around. The Devils, on the other hand, simply do not have the roster to do so.

He might as well be at this rate...not like he's scoring enough to be a forward.

"The Devils have high standards, that's the difference. We have a standard to live up to every year, and a couple of teams in our area don't have the standards we do." - Pat Burns

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

The problem with Harold is that the sole reason he is in there is because the coaches have some perceived notion that he is good offensively. When in fact he constantly breaks up the offensive rhythm by mishandling passes and losing the zone.

That's not to mention many bad breakout and neutral zone passes and turnovers.

He only thing he has on Larsson is speed. Which isn't enough of an advantage to warrant him to play. I'm a bid deboer supporter but he is losing me quickly by constantly playing harrold

They got 8 games before the 5 game run where it's home Kings/Pens back to back and then the California trip.   If they don't start stringing a few wins together, it could get really ugly by Thanksgiving or so.

Henrique / Zajac / and the entire defense are an enigma. I'm disgusted with this team. We stink.

And the next two are Vancouver (home) and at Boston.  Not exactly a lot of breaks with this schedule till after Thanksgiving.

So let me call the lineup changes for Thursday: Loktionov out for Josefson, Fayne out for Larsson, Marty in net, Harrold still in. I'm sure it'll be just an aces night at the Rock.
