even if his SV% isn't quite as high as it was in Vancouver IIRC, he's still miiiiiiiiiles better than anything we've had in years

He's had how many starts? He could pitch a 35 save shutout tomorrow and have the greatest save percentage in NHL history.

"The Stanley Cup has fallen from the Stars. The new millennium has its first Stanley Cup Champion, and it's the New Jersey Devils." Mike Miller calling the Devils winning the Stanley Cup.

"It goes to the captain and then there are handoffs during a skate around the ice" Mike Emrick as Scott Stevens is being presented the Stanley Cup.

I don't know why you're getting on me since I'm not one of the doofuses criticizing him, but yes that's true and it could go in the tank after a bad game too. Yay for small samples, he's close enough in his small sample to normal that I have no problem with what he's done

Didn't mean to get on you. Just a little too early to be judging any numbers. Plus I wouldn't bother responding to posters I didn't respect.

If we're looking for a goalie to be unimpressed with...he wears #30

Players try to block shots and it fks up the goalie ability to see or block a shot. That's been a problem for both our goalies and around the league I've heard this topic come up.

Cory played in two games in which we got shutout. He was the only reason we were even in the Vancouver or Winnipeg game whatsoever. He'll be fine.

ah ok no problem. Sample is too small, but it is nice to at least see he's close to normal so far. Comforting at least

He wasn't good in Columbus.  But other than that, he's been fine.

i think part of that was also from a lack of defense leaving him out for dead.. he can only do so much on his own.. defense needs to tighten up and get better for sure.
