kind of off topic but since practice was mentioned why not.. anyone know if fans are allowed to go watch practices? me and one of my buddys were interested in trying to go check out a practice.

Practices have been closed to the public since the move to Newark.

My first though was Zidlicky.

I would also be tempted to throw Gelinas in there every once in a while and just let him hammer one at the goalie, a la Brian Rolston,

Loktianov also seems like a sensible choice, he has good hands at speed.

I'd like to see Henrique and Zajac get another crack at it... they both had some sweet moves that beat the goalie and, as was our luck during the first half of the games we played, they hit the post.

Henrique and Tedenby are so close to nailing that backhand deke that Parise used to do all the time. I've seen them do it in a few games and they're so close to nailing it. They freeze the goalie everytime but just need to keep the shot down.

They have said JJ does not like doing shootouts, but at this point I do not see why we wouldn't force him to give it a crack...can't be any worse than what we have been getting in the shootout from anyone else.

Brunner
Henrique/Jagr
Elias

You gotta go Brunner and Elias because they have the best hands on this team. I think Brunner has a few highlight SO goals in his short career anyway.

Henrique has good hands I just know it! But bricked his last chance. I can understand putting Jagr in there though too

Jagr definitely doesn't feel comfortable in shootouts.  I remember watching a game when he was on the Rangers and they wanted him to go out there and he refused.

Brunner has to be in there. I don't think anyone else on this team could pull this off.

And he can just snipe it, too.
