I guess we're not counting Gionta? As much as you can hate Stephen for his little frame, he can skate quickly with it. I'd honestly say he's our fastest skater (and yeah the competition is still pretty sh!tty) I also didn't see Ryder mentioned who has pretty good wheels, at least for our standards.

Ryder is an awful skater. I don't think he makes the top ten fastest.

Lol what a troll thread

It actually wasn't meant to be that if you look at the op, but yeah it's kind of tough to name a top five fastest. Tougher still if you don't count the Swedes sitting upstairs more often than not.

I actually think he is one of our fastest, and that's a huge problem. This team is slower than dirt.

"The Devils have high standards, that's the difference. We have a standard to live up to every year, and a couple of teams in our area don't have the standards we do." - Pat Burns

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

Kinda like the hair and the tuttle. He's the tuttle. Sestito, Janssen amd Gointa are in a class by themselves, none belong  in the NHL, how pathetic.

Your Gio hate is crazy. Saying he looks fast because he is small is just proving he is fast. being small means short legs means shorter strides. look at st Louis. Lots of leg power and speed.

it's when you watch other games that you realize how fast pace it is compared to Devils hockey, sometimes it depends on who we're playing but most of the time its a really slow game plus the guys are slowing down the play on purpose.

The Leafs are not a great team but god do they ever have some good rush players who can often score off the rush. I don't think we have a single player able to do it

2 regulation wins in the Leafs' last 18 GP.  6-9-3 in those 18.  Still giving up a boatload of shots too (opponents have reached 50 in 3 out of their last 10 games against the Leafs).  Luck is running out for that team quickly.

THE NHL MUST LOVE THE DEVILS - from who else? A RANGER fan!
[Mark Messier]: A big, bald attention whore with a stupid Easter Island-lookin face. - from who else? DaneykoIsGod!

Even when Marty comes back maybe Larry should put Clemmensen to be on the goal during the shootouts.
Can the coach do that ? Switch the goalies 5 seconds to go in overtime?
- Most priceless quote ever posted on a message board.

Martin Brodeur: THE MOST ALL-TIME WINS!, 12 straight seasons of 30+ wins, 3 Stanley Cups, 4 Vezina Trophies, and zero respect from too many so-called Devils "fans" who are either too young or too bandwagon to remember the much darker days of Sean Burke, Craig Billington, Bob Sauve, Alain Chevrier, and the talented but overwhelmed Chico Resch, among many others.

It's easy to support a great player when he's playing at his very best. It takes a true fan to support that same player during those rare moments and stretches when he's not. Babe Ruth went 0-4 some games, and sometimes Wayne Gretzky was held pointless. There may be such a thing as greatness, but no such thing as absolute perfection every single night.

well good cause Leafs fans has become incredibly annoying lately, they've been craving success for so long they wouldnt shut up about it. And eventhough we'd point out that they were getting wins but we're not playing well at all, getting outplayed/outshot/outchance every single games and pulling wins out of their asses, that their luck would run out at some point and would crash and burn like they always do.

Of course fans would go de denial way and "a win is a win" but its awesome to see them crash finally
