They really did a crappy job promoting this as "an event" for the general public.   That being said I would be impressed if they only had 10,000 unsold tickets by game time.

I honestly think having it during Super Bowl week was probably the worst decision they could of possibly made. People coming in for the Super Bowl aren't even in NYC yet and the NHL had no shot trying to take away some of the buzz from the NFL.

About 40 seats in section 405 were priced at $16 earlier this morning.

WOW

Wonder if someone made an error

That is crazy I will have to pay close attention now

I have watched every outdoor game that has been televised but this added dimension is making this the best experience for me and would have been even if the Devils weren't playing. I'll watch the other practice and the West Coast telecasts.

Agreed LD. This is so cool. It's awesome to see the players with their families.

I always enjoyed watching this stuff before Winter Classics, it's a blast to finally be able to watch the Devils in this situation. And with it being at Yankee Stadium... I wouldn't have it any other way (OK, I'd rather it was the Winter Classic, but that ain't happening between two local rivals. And years from now, no one's gonna care what date it was anyway, it's the experience that's going to stay with the fans and the players).

I could get used to watching a 90 minute show every game day at noon all about the Devils...

Unless I missed it, Blankets are not on the prohibited items list. I plan on bringing one myself

This practice has been awesome to watch

Anyone who is watching this, and is not going tomorrow because they claim they don't want to....are lying

I really don't get what you're saying.  I'm sure plenty of people love the ambiance and the fact the Devils are in an outdoor game, but don't want to actually sit in the cold themselves.

That's me. Too damn cold. I'll enjoy the ambiance from my warm living room lol.

I'm kind of depressed I'm not going. I kind of always figured I would when the Devils got into an outdoor game. But financially I just couldn't do it. Oh well, the warmth of my living room will be appreciated I'm sure.

I'm looking at stubhub now, and I see the lowest priced tickets are quantity "1-24"

I hope that guy has lost a TON of money on this event, piece of garbage scalper.  I hope he at least spent $100 for each of those 24 tickets.

I think for the LA one, both ice girls teams should wear bikinis and play on the beach volleyball court.

Do we know who's dropping the first puck tomorrow? I swear if it's a member of the '94 team I'll freak.
