Chico Resch had a hairy flight to Denver. Engine caught on fire and plane was forced to land in Des Moines
Chico: "I thought I had done my last game. I wanted to finish my book so I kept reading." http://nj.com/devils

Chico may just wanna smoke up after his flight out there lol.

Also from Chere, Sislo sent back to Albany and Patty activated.

@TGfireandice:Devils return Mike Sislo to Albany of AHL. Patrik Elias and Jacob Josefson activated from IR.

Jesus, after something like that, I'd find the nearest possible bong and inhale until smoke was coming out my ears.  Then I'd spend the rest of the day giggling at everything and eating like I was on death row.

THE NHL MUST LOVE THE DEVILS - from who else? A RANGER fan!
[Mark Messier]: A big, bald attention whore with a stupid Easter Island-lookin face. - from who else? DaneykoIsGod!

Even when Marty comes back maybe Larry should put Clemmensen to be on the goal during the shootouts.
Can the coach do that ? Switch the goalies 5 seconds to go in overtime?
- Most priceless quote ever posted on a message board.

Martin Brodeur: THE MOST ALL-TIME WINS!, 12 straight seasons of 30+ wins, 3 Stanley Cups, 4 Vezina Trophies, and zero respect from too many so-called Devils "fans" who are either too young or too bandwagon to remember the much darker days of Sean Burke, Craig Billington, Bob Sauve, Alain Chevrier, and the talented but overwhelmed Chico Resch, among many others.

It's easy to support a great player when he's playing at his very best. It takes a true fan to support that same player during those rare moments and stretches when he's not. Babe Ruth went 0-4 some games, and sometimes Wayne Gretzky was held pointless. There may be such a thing as greatness, but no such thing as absolute perfection every single night.

That would definitely make it hard to freak out over a hockey game. Not a bad idea at all haha

7 D is not the worst thing in the world.

ZZGrandPop

Newfoundline

CBGB

Bouch - Elias - (double)

I bet Elias will get mostly special teams time tonight easing his way back in. Giving Bernie a few shifts with Patty and the Waterboy would be good.

Gelinas may get a few shifts up front this game now that they have a center.

Never hurts to have a plan.

Some comedian (I forget who, was back in 90s I think) always said the hardest thing to do is to get a stoner to fight.

I was skeptical at first but 7D seems to be doing the trick. Seems to be a) limiting Salvador's ice time, while b) utilizing Gelinas in the most favorable situations without him having to play nervously for fear of making mistakes (and ultimately end up benched). DeBoer was benching guys on offense anyway, so at least now we get to keep the D fresh and maximize our talents.

We'll see how it goes tonight, but I've been slowly moving to the side of thinking this is a good idea.

Bill hicks in the early 90's did a bit where he suggested switching weed for alcohol at sporting events and that arguments would basically just be:

"Hey buddy!"
"Hey... What?"
"Hey!"
"Hey!"

Sounds similar to what I remember, but I think I was baked at the time.
