Not a bad effort.  I said they should win 4 of the 6 remaining games before the Olympics.  This was one of the 2 they lost.  Dallas won't be as tough.

Pete doesn't care about such trivial statistical measurements like 'save percentage' and 'goals against average'. We all know those things don't matter. Pete said so.

ya thats true. its just pete is just getting on my last nerve of late. its like he cant motivate the team at all.

He shouldn't have to.  The players need to motivate themselves.  I hope Pete makes the logical choice and stays with Cory.

ya thats true too. but when you have captain like bryce salvador it is hard too cuz he is just terrible. and how can they motivate themselves when they have to listen to that guy or anyone for a matter of fact when they all have been playing terrible minus a couple players

I can't get on the team too much tonight. This game came so soon after the outdoor game, which because of the big buildup and the harsh elements might've left them a little wiped. The Blues are a tough team, especially at home against the East. I'm actually a little happy with the way the Devs got a little scrappy at the end -- Volch, Henrique, Clowe and Bernier.

Oh well thats more the result youd expect looking at those 2 teams on paper. Way more than a 7-1 game going our way especially lol hard to be upset at this one.

Was glad they could at least give us fans the 7-1 win last week. I made the trip out there and will never forget it. As for tonight, I couldn't see them getting a win, not with St. Louis' record at home the way it is (and their record against Eastern teams). They're just too good, too deep, I really really like that Blues team. They're not too different from us, the way they play.

As for Lou, he needs to go out and get us a couple forwards, like a day ago.

not a bad game though; this road trip could get ugly though.

"The Devils have high standards, that's the difference. We have a standard to live up to every year, and a couple of teams in our area don't have the standards we do." - Pat Burns

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03
