If Lou wants this team to make the playoffs, he better do something.

I wish I could give up. How many posts have you posted this season?

I could see Lou using one of his recalls now. I think Larsson may very well be called up any day.

Lou has never been afraid to make a move.

Nonetheless, teams can still make emergency call-ups in case someone does get hurt.

Tim Sestito just called up.  Burning one of your four call-ups on basically a 5th line center.  Stupid.

Like, I said, this is totally Lou. I don't really think it's such a big deal. The call-ups are not so vital - how many Albany players do we expect to need the rest of the season? Larsson. That's it.

if we are just going to waste him down there(larsson) i wish we would have traded him or packaged him with something else for someone who would help this team where we need it

C'mon boys, all we have to do is go 10-2-1 the rest of the way. Easily doable.

If this is one less thing MB has to post about, it's win-win all-around.

THE NHL MUST LOVE THE DEVILS - from who else? A RANGER fan!
[Mark Messier]: A big, bald attention whore with a stupid Easter Island-lookin face. - from who else? DaneykoIsGod!

Even when Marty comes back maybe Larry should put Clemmensen to be on the goal during the shootouts.
Can the coach do that ? Switch the goalies 5 seconds to go in overtime?
- Most priceless quote ever posted on a message board.

Martin Brodeur: THE MOST ALL-TIME WINS!, 12 straight seasons of 30+ wins, 3 Stanley Cups, 4 Vezina Trophies, and zero respect from too many so-called Devils "fans" who are either too young or too bandwagon to remember the much darker days of Sean Burke, Craig Billington, Bob Sauve, Alain Chevrier, and the talented but overwhelmed Chico Resch, among many others.

It's easy to support a great player when he's playing at his very best. It takes a true fan to support that same player during those rare moments and stretches when he's not. Babe Ruth went 0-4 some games, and sometimes Wayne Gretzky was held pointless. There may be such a thing as greatness, but no such thing as absolute perfection every single night.

I'd be shocked if we see Larsson at this point.  Unless they just wait till we're totally out of it to give him a few games.  This braintrust can go **** themselves.

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

It's very hard for me to respect giving Gelinas time right now instead of Larsson. Very hard. If Gelinas was only being used as a PP weapon that's one thing, but he's out there in do-or-die defensive situations.

Absolutely insulting to the poor kid keeping him in Albany this whole time, especially when he was playing so well here, and ESPECIALLY when we have clowns like Salvador getting 20+ mins a night. If Larsson requested a trade, I'd hold no ill will towards him.

Or Merrill.  Or Salvador.  Or Zidlicky.  This entire defense is a dumpster fire, but it's always easier to blame the kids, except somehow Merill escapes it with this staff.

The reason you blame the kids is because they have two-way contracts.

If you guys want to pack it up, fine. But I'm believing in this damn team. Just look at some of the moments from this year and tell me you're ready to quit.

Believe what you wish, they've packed it in since choking away a game they needed Friday.

And they're five points plus a game in hand out with less than a month to go to jump multiple teams.  Even if they ripped off a ten-game winning streak somehow THAT might not be enough at this point and since they've had one lousy three-game winning streak in over a year that ain't likely.

Did you even watch the video man? Some of those moments are just strong enough to make anyone believe
