Do a side-by-side with the Rangers' season compared to our 2012, it'll make you puke...bear in mind both teams had new coaches and new systems and got off to slow starts:

Their first 36 games: 16-18-2, Our first 36 games: 20-15-1 (including nine of our SO wins)

Their last 46 games: 29-13-4, Our last 46 games: 28-13-5

They acquire St. Louis in the headline trade, switch Del Zotto for Kevin Klein and make a big secondary addition in Carcillo

We acquire Zidlicky and make secondary additions like Poni and Carter.

Not much is expected of either but both win their first-round series by one goal in game seven against a team most did expect them to beat.  Each faced a division foe expected to beat them in round two.

For the game or the series? Might hold for the series.

"The Stanley Cup has fallen from the Stars. The new millennium has its first Stanley Cup Champion, and it's the New Jersey Devils." Mike Miller calling the Devils winning the Stanley Cup.

"It goes to the captain and then there are handoffs during a skate around the ice" Mike Emrick as Scott Stevens is being presented the Stanley Cup.

I'm talking about the game. Although 2-0 in the series would be nice too lol.

I'm just joking around. I think this should be a clean sweep for the Hawks.

"The Devils have high standards, that's the difference. We have a standard to live up to every year, and a couple of teams in our area don't have the standards we do." - Pat Burns

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

Parise leads the playoffs in scoring. Rofl, you can't make this sh!t up. Between that and the Rags, the hockey gods just can't rub enough salt in our wounds can they?

The Rags are going to the finals... Maybe Boston can stop them, but I fear not.

Parise, puke

I hope and pray you're wrong. Boston has their hands full as it is, so we have to just hope they get there at this rate lol.

Parise is a class act and always has been. Zero reason to hate him but it just shows the maturity of this fan base. Hopefully he wins the cup this year. Such sour grapes around here, everyone just sounds like a bunch of 6 yr olds that couldn't get sprinkles on their ice cream.

The flyers were terrible, the rangers lucked out with the new playoff format, they were a 5 seed with home ice playing a 6 seed. Pittsburgh outplayed the rangers yesterday. The first goal was atrocious, fluery has to stop that. I think Pitt will win that series.

Price is stellar, he's in the the bruins heads. Boston is dominating, but can't convert.

I know... We have to be the first fanbase in the history of sports to ever hate a guy for leaving. How dare we. I'm so sorry that we hurt your feelings with our negative comments about Parise BH. Can you forgive us? Please?

Don't wanna hate, a city, a fan base and an under dog team all because of one dude.

Lol, then don't. If you wanna root for them, go ahead. I'm not. I'd rather see a Chicago-Boston rematch 10 times out of 10.

2-1 Montreal. Boston is getting frustrated now. They just took an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
