They must have been right at the cap and Clarke did it to get room, I guess. Because I wouldn't want to have NO room. But Markov...unless he is going to give one of the kids major time and he feels comfortable with their mobility, he's got major immobility on that blueline. But I checked the Philly news report and basically it said they got tired of the Senators going across the blueline and laughing at them, so they got these guys to crush the Sens. But they have to be able to CATCH the Sens first.

Would you rather have Holik at 4.25 or Madden at 3.86?

Madden is not making 3.86...he's making less than that I believe.

Flyers have a 1:00 press conference called. Clarke has signed 3 players.
Derrian Hatcher, Mike Rathje and Chris Therrian.

With the Flyers out of the Niedermayer sweepstakes this gives us a better chance to resign him.
Too bad Scott wont take a "Leetch" approach to FA and not sign with any rivals.
Rangers are knocking on his door and we all know how Dolan likes to throw money around.

I'd take Madden at $4.25 over Holik at $0

Once a traitor, always a traitor. Our dignity is not for sale.

He's a lockeroom menace... and in the new league, a big 35 year old center who skates poorly and who's best play is obstruction, will not be a premier player.

I'm glad we have a GM who feels that way too.

And the Ranger$ like to sign Devil's players, just because they can.

Hahahaha...long overdue. Now they need to get rid of Jacobs.

The problem is, NJ only plays them 4 times a year. We were only able to get them to trade JT and fire the idiot GM. If we played them 8 times a year, maybe Jacobs might have an epiphany and sell the team.

An article about whos interested in Niedermayer. Sounds like were still in it. Although I'm not sure where Sportsnet keeps getting all this stuff from because there hasn't been anything on tsn since the aucoin deal. I have a feeling Sportsnet may be jumping the gun abit on some of these deals.
