Lately I've noticed that a lot of images are missing. Avatars seem to be disappearing left and right, and the images Sammy attached to the "guy falls into netting at Yankee Stadium" thread aren't there, causing an error to be produced when you click on the thumbnails to view the full-sized images. Is this because of the server mirrors?
Mirrors wreaking havoc with images?

of the Devils' mascot, NJ Devil, and 
of all mascots far and wide.IT IS VERY HARD TO WIN ONE STANLEY CUP, FORGET ABOUT THREE... and maybe it's high time some of you actually APPRECIATED THAT instead of treating it like it's some flipping birthright because for some random reason you rooted for the damn Devils!!!!!

Yea Rowdy, there is several HTTP servers, but they all feed from the same database server. Essentially uploading an image will only get fed to one of the HTTP servers. So if you land on the one without it, the image X's out.
The servers are ending pretty soon, it should clear up .

The server is back to one. I would reupload the avatar, it was probably on one of the mirrors. Sorry about that.

Man, that error message was useless! I just uploaded a test image with no problems. Can you describe the image RD, or maybe just AIM me.

Yeah, I've been getting that same error message. I was trying to upload my current avatar (and the Kool-Aid one I had before that); I finally gave up and hosted it remotely.

Still trying to figure this one out. I think it has something to do with the file permissions, they must have gotten screwed up in the file swapping we just did.

OK, I gave up and emailed tech support. The file paths were wrong, it was changed from home to home2 during the mirror situation.
