What kinda crap is that? No offense I LOVED Scotty and Nieds, but honestly we'll do perfectly fine without them. Recovering from Hepatitis A won't take the entire season, and is everyone forgetting that Robinson won two cups with us and took us to the Finals as a head coach? Some people just dont need to be talking about hockey....

But Yahoo really has no credibility. I believe Detroit is ranked ahead of the Devils (a joke to begin with) with the statement that 'Jason Williams has to become a top-line threat this year." Jason Williams is only a top-line threat in the AHL - and it's obvious to anyone who does more than just look at stats.

Well I didnt mean we'll be just as good as we were with them, I meant we're not gonna drop from a playoff contender to the basement just because those two left....
In his defense, the writer did say we were going to make the playoffs.
After one game we have looked great, only 81 more to go!

I think it's naive to assume we'll do 'just fine' without two of the best 100 defenders to ever play the game.

"Right, lads. Now I know there's not a faint heart among you. I know you're as anxious as I am to get into close action. But we must bring 'em right up beside us before we spring this trap. That will test our nerve. And discipline will count just as much as courage. The Acheron is a tough nut to crack. More then twice our guns. More then twice our numbers. And they will sell their lives dearly." -Capt. Jack Aubrey
