McBride is awesome...gets a knock on the head that leaves a golf ball size bruise... and 10 minutes later scores on an awesome headball.....

And the backup was 37 and made a sick save. Also, Trinidad nearly went ahead but hit the crossbar. That's a huge upset regardless and awesome accomplishment.
Also, England defeats Paraguay 1-0 on a Beckham goal that went off a Paraguay defender. Not a great start for them.

England = lucky that Paraguay couldnt get out of its own way
Unimpressive debuts by 'favorite' teams
T&T pesky and deserved a point
Ecuador also deserved the win
and Germany in a tough spot responds though CR played well beyond its roster.

England = lucky that Paraguay couldnt get out of its own way
