Anyone see the last warm up game??
McBride is awesome...gets a knock on the head that leaves a golf ball size bruise... and 10 minutes later scores on an awesome headball.....

Did anyone catch Trinidad's tie with Sweden? Unbelievable. Their first ever World Cup game and they lost their starting keeper in warmups and were a man short almost the entire 2nd half and still tied 0-0.
And the backup was 37 and made a sick save. Also, Trinidad nearly went ahead but hit the crossbar. That's a huge upset regardless and awesome accomplishment.
Also, England defeats Paraguay 1-0 on a Beckham goal that went off a Paraguay defender. Not a great start for them.

Argentina = lucky that IC was not diciplined/experienced enough
England = lucky that Paraguay couldnt get out of its own way
Unimpressive debuts by 'favorite' teams
T&T pesky and deserved a point
Ecuador also deserved the win
and Germany in a tough spot responds though CR played well beyond its roster.
