Cool how the Opener's against Albany. That should be a big crowd.

I don't think that's cool. The home opener is one of the guaranteed big crowds of the season, and it's being wasted on bringing in Albany, which is another guaranteed big crowd because they're last year's Lock Monsters? Typical Devils, always passing up a chance to put more butts in the seats.

Typical Devils? They aren't the ones who make the schedule, the ahl does that.

But the teams have some input into the process. I wouldn't be surprised if Lou specifically requested Albany for the home opener.

Why would you think Lou would ask for that?

Your unconditional rejection of violence makes you smugly think of yourselves as noble, as enlightened, but in reality it is nothing less than abject moral capitulation to evil. Unconditional rejection of self-defense, because you think its a supposed surrender to violence, leaves you no resort but begging for mercy or offering appeasement.

I dunno, to give the fans an early chance to see their old team versus their new team? The thing is, that game would probably draw a big crowd anyway, so it seems like a waste of an opportunity to further expose the team by having that game as your home opener, which is traditionally a large draw.

Pay homage to the INCREDIBLE scoring goalie!!!! :-)

I saw CRASHER trip a kid on skates and then he stole the kids lunch money and slapped his mom when she came to pick him up.. All because the kid looked at his crease
