At the beginning of the season, who would have listed all 3 as in-the-running?

Over time, this should normalize to 50-50 - there is no inherent advantage to shooting first.
Whatever the case - a good game by the Devils, but too many shorthanded chances for Atlanta. Brodeur wasn't very strong, either - well, he was, but the Hossa 2nd goal seemed to fool him.
Good to see Oduya finally get his first, and Rafalski get into the play.
Elias-Gomez-Gionta mystifies me. I have no idea what they are doing on the ice half the time.
Jim Dowd has to stop taking stupid penalties - this is the third game in 4 where he has taken a silly hooking or holding penalty that has nothing to do with the play - it's infuriating. He should sit for a game - throw LaCouture out there.

the pp doenst give me great concern because it played very well. just that we had 2 SHG, but remember how they got that first one, some bullsh!t.
i dont know this game doesnt really put me one way or the other, but i do wish they could maintain that good home ice record a little better.

Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is!

Anyways, it was a very winnable game. These SHG's are ridiculous, and I almost strained my neck from throwing it up in the air everytime I saw Hossa on a damn breakaway. Oh well, there are worse nights to only come out of the game with 1 point.
