One of my favorite Devils all time is Alexander Semak cuz he was the man in 93 when I played SEGA on a Med cruise season and whipped up on peeps and shouted Saaaaaa-MACK! when I used him to score a goal.
Favoritists are Daneyko cuz HE IS/WAS a Devil forever and Scotty cuz he is the best hitter ever to play.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is!

My dad's favorite player is Madden. I like him too though.
Ummm back in the day I loved Randy McKay. I don't know why, but he was my favorite when I was like 10. And of course Scott Stevens and Ken Daneyko. Annnnnd Zach Parise. Duh.

Kirk Muller said it best: "He's not Lemieux, but he's our Lemieux."
He had three straight seasons of 41 or more goals, starting in '88-'89...he looked like he might score 50 but tore his ACL during the '91-'92 preseason. He was never the same after that.
[Mark Messier]: A big, bald attention whore with a stupid Easter Island-lookin face. - from who else? DaneykoIsGod!
Even when Marty comes back maybe Larry should put Clemmensen to be on the goal during the shootouts.
Can the coach do that ? Switch the goalies 5 seconds to go in overtime? - Most priceless quote ever posted on a message board.
Martin Brodeur: THE MOST ALL-TIME WINS!, 12 straight seasons of 30+ wins, 3 Stanley Cups, 4 Vezina Trophies, and zero respect from too many so-called Devils "fans" who are either too young or too bandwagon to remember the much darker days of Sean Burke, Craig Billington, Bob Sauve, Alain Chevrier, and the talented but overwhelmed Chico Resch, among many others.
It's easy to support a great player when he's playing at his very best. It takes a true fan to support that same player during those rare moments and stretches when he's not. Babe Ruth went 0-4 some games, and sometimes Wayne Gretzky was held pointless. There may be such a thing as greatness, but no such thing as absolute perfection every single night.

All-time - of course I love Stevens -- but mostly because he's underrated. I suppose at the end of the day he really isn't but all anyone points to are his hits and his leading on ice... no one ever says what he really does. I say no one can conceive his value so they just sort of give him his due but never fully because they can't say what it is he does -- so he gets underrated since no one can adequately defend any moron who thinks he doesn't bring much to the table. No appreciates how subdued and modest and selfless he is - how can a guy with such a hot head - like a fat Quinn wants a guy to go out there and showboat and take over a team -- but Scotty does what is asked of him - he's very considerate... but very opinionated and somehow things that are maybe sort of offensive and kind of bullying seem to sort of slip out but
Favorite active Devil? I don't know -- I like little bits and peices of everyone's game. I have a new favorite practically every play I see. I trust them all. On ice I think everyone's motivation is really square and if you put everything I like about everyone into one hockey player ... it would be Scott Stevens!
I do think Niedermayer was probably the most talented Devil ever iced. Marty is a close second.
I'm here for the party
