Small signing...but it seems the old way$ of the cap-le$$ 49er$ are on the horizon!

The 49ers added their fourth potential starter to their defense by reaching an agreement Tuesday with Patriots linebacker Tully Banta-Cain.

He will receive a three-year, $12.2 million contract that will pay him $4 million in 2007.

Porter a Dolphin....makes sense and its a good upgrade for a team with NO IDENTITY.

Moss in NE, I don't believe that for a second. He is not a Bellchik player.

Dillon and Harrison weren't those type of players either and they did just fine.

Thomas Jones traded to the Jets (not too sure on this... Jones is above average but nothing special)

Ahman Green to the Texans
Cowboys sign OL Leonard Davis (yay, took Phillips a MONTH to do what fat boy wouldn't do in 4 years :P)



That guy is huge the Cowboys got. :blink: Davis is 6'6", 366 lbs. Yeah really Phillips did something that Parcells needed to do for years now get an offensive lineman with huge size.

Jones going to the Jets was rather suprising and will do good for the Jets.

I agree.

it all comes down to where Benson was drafted IMO...Bears management feels a need to justify taking Benson in the Top 10 of the draft and they need to give the reigns to Benson.

I still think Benson can be very good...but we will see...

Other rumor:

Willis McGahee is rumored to go a number of places...notably Baltimore...Marv is reportedly looking for a 2nd round pick for Willis, who has 1 year left on his contract (and his agent is Rosenhaus, a big turnoff)

At this point Willis seems like he wants out, grant him his wish and the Bills are looking to sign Dominic Rhodes anyway.

BALTIMORE???? I didn't hear this rumor, but I welcome it. McGhaee is an explosive back, behind Ogden should get 2,000 yards a season. I would love that....and a creative offensive coordinator.

As long as McGahee does not want to audition for "Dancing With The Stars" like he seems to do sometimes instead of hitting the holes when he should, he would be a great fit for the Ravens.

Bills are making thing$ interesting a bit...

Look like Buffalo, according to a Bills site I belong to...will be signing RB Chris Brown from Tennessee....also...Bills having RB Corey Dillon in for a visit today...adding much fuel to the fire that Willis McGahee will be shipped to the Ravens for a 2nd round pick.

Also, Baltimore apparently has made a "take it or leave it" offer to Jamal Lewis.

But I grew frustrated watching Jamal Lewis try to tip-toe out of the backfield and constently be stopped (far too easily) in short yardage situations the past few seasons. He has a HUGE upper body, but it takes him far too long to get going.

Change is good. Now, if we only had a good offensive coordinator.

Thats fine. When we had a great offensive line, he was a great runner. But I grew frustrated watching Jamal Lewis try to tip-toe out of the backfield and constently be stopped (far too easily) in short yardage situations the past few seasons. He has a HUGE upper body, but it takes him far too long to get going.

Change is good. Now, if we only had a good offensive coordinator.



I feel very strongly that Willis McGahee will be a Raven by the end of the day.

But, my predictions are as good as Єklund (2.3% accurate) (2.3% accurate)'s...so I digress :lol:

Joe Horn to the Falcons.... good luck getting accurate passes from that no-talent fraud... you triple Horn, and double Crumpler and contain Vick and it's the same as it ever was :P)

The 35 year old Horn will hardly be able to elevate Michael Vick's career, that is for sure!

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but it seems every year the Bronco$ are major players in FA...how do they not cap out???
