That was a fun game to watch. Both teams did not disappoint and despite a brain fart or two on either side of the puck, the Sens/Devils came out ready to play Game 2 in the style we are all used to seeing.

How the Sens let Brylin get that shot off with .2 seconds left I'll never know, but give credit where credit is do. Brylin was determined to get that shot. After the first, I think the Sens started to carry the play and took that with them into the 4th OT. Great Saves by both Goaltenders in this one, resiliancy shown by the Sens, determination not to lose by the Devils, and your typical Devils winner where patience, and a weak cross ice pass attempt results on Langenbrunner streaking in on Emery and just sliding the puck past a sprawling Emery. Classic :argh:

I'm happy with the effort put forth by the Sens. This will be a tough series as billed.

Both teams can hang with each other. No question about that.

you reminded me of our trip out of the parking lot... there was some guy in a sens jersey standing in the middle of the lot trying to shake hands with people in their cars who were leaving.... most people weren't sure how to handle it

we're not used to dignity from our opponent.... forgive us

(jusy remember we're TRYING when we go up there for game 6!! )

Pay homage to the INCREDIBLE scoring goalie!!!! :-)

I saw CRASHER trip a kid on skates and then he stole the kids lunch money and slapped his mom when she came to pick him up.. All because the kid looked at his crease

CRASHER's official list of high stick victims from this forum:
gionta182, devilsfan26 .... WHO'S NEXT??

2005 Fantasy Football League Champion... Bow to my Football knowledge !!!!!!

2003-04 NJDevs.com winner of the Masterton Award for Dedication to the Devils(still proud of that one !)

4, Four (!?!?) Time (2005-2008) NJDevs.com winner of the Whoever the damn Award for the funniest poster in the land is named after...(geesh... post pressure, but I seem ok with it!)
TWO TIME (2005, 2006) Award Winner and the man who can show Jeremy Roenick what a REAL loudmouth is all about.... hell this mouth roars SO loud, they retired the DAMN AWARD!!!! But how do you be emotional about an award for being most emotional when you're sharing it?

2008 NJDevs Stanley Cup Winner for best overall poster... where's my damn ring?

June 6, 2007... the NHL dies just a little bit.....

Great win by the Devils. :boogie: It should have been over in regulation, but a win is a win. It was a good game and will be a good series. Looking forward to seeing the Devils play in Ottawa where they play very well there.

It's now a best of 5 with Ottawa having home advantage.

Devils win one in Ottawa which I think they will, they get the home ice advantage back. They could win both there and that would be really awesome but a split would be ideal for the Devils. :koolaid:

I'll be at game 3. I'm not too sure why though. I get too nervous while watching games to enjoy it when I am live at the arena.

So far I am 0-2 when seeing the Devils live in the playoffs. Hopefully that will change tomorrow.

Just a note to any Devils fans who are thinking of making the trip to Ottawa for game 3 and 4:

Tickets are going for dirt cheap on eBay for any of these games. You can snag two tickets right now for as cheap as $65 Cdn.

I saw those and I tried bidding on them but this stupid computer I'm using at work won't let me bid on them. And just my luck the auction ends by the time I get out of here.
