God. This Yankee team blows.
A 4-run lead and in typical fashion, they blow it up in one inning. It also goes to show that the Red Sox are the polar opposite and are clutch. Their starter gives up 3 in the top half and what do they do? Rally for 5 in large part due to Abreu, by far the most overrated player in baseball. He can't even handle a routine line drive.
I got to say the Fenway chant during that inning of "Where is Roger" was classic.
He must be so glad he returned to this chaotic team.

I disagree Derek I think it matters not wether he is getting money while pitching in a meaning game or he is home doing his nails -the man is a mercenary and could care less if the Yanks are in last place or going for the wild card as long as his contract says he gets paid lots (tough he wouldn know that because he didint read it ) IMO

Typical met fan reaction...so it has nothing to do with preparing for the season etc..oh that's right, its the Yankees...so it MUST be wrong...
I hate this Clemens thing too but man always something to moan and groan about from the anti Yankee fan...I find it hilarious.
Where is the Mets thread here? Can't we talk about a team that is doing great...why isn't there one?? Why are non Yankees fans SO focused on the yankees negatives?
Plenty else to talk about in baseball.

The media wants to shove Clemens down everybodies throat so it shouldn't be surprising that people talk and comment on it.

I stand by what I said Clown -- the man is a gutless puke -- if he was the leader you rented then he should have wanted to pitch last night - he got "hurt" and it wasnt possible so be it, but he wasnt going to pitch there anyways just like he sidesteps Shea, If we didnt hear so much about the second coming "OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS " I would be less inclined to comment on it - but since it is rammed down our throats, then you get this kind of anti-yankee reaction, and yes I'll go on record I hate the yanks but I hate the rags more... and that I hope we can agree on.

Clemens first start was pretty good. He struggled early but got better as the game went on retiring the last 7 men he faced.
