As we get closer to the opening of the Prudential Center in Newark, and there are more opinions and events announced, would it make sense to have a subforum for all chat on the new digs? For posting news and fan opinions about the place?
Was wondering if you guys thought it'd make sense?

The more subforums there are the more confusing it gets, and people don't really want to use subforums anyway. Might as well just put that stuff in one of the main folders. Besides this is the offseason, I think you could get away with posting that kind of stuff in Hell or Heaven, or Off-Topic.

We had a subforum back when the arena was in the planning stages, when there were a lot of articles debating whether there should be an arena and there was a lot of discussion here concerning whether the Devils needed a new arena and whether it would be better than the CAA or not. As everything was resolved, the need for a separate forum went away.
As Hasan said, pretty much all of this stuff would fit in one of the main forums anyway. Either split it between Hell/Heaven and OT as necessary or put it all in Heaven, but to be honest, I'm not sure there will be a sufficient number of topics to consistently obviate a need to have its own forum. Also, as Has pointed out rather discreetly, some people are still bitching about the Sports forum (oops, I guess I'm not as discreet
), and that will probably get more use than a Rock forum would.

of all mascots far and wide.IT IS VERY HARD TO WIN ONE STANLEY CUP, FORGET ABOUT THREE... and maybe it's high time some of you actually APPRECIATED THAT instead of treating it like it's some flipping birthright because for some random reason you rooted for the damn Devils!!!!!

While we have the traffic to support the many subforums, there comes a point when the general forum needs to catch some of the posts.
I doubt there will be that many more threads on the Rock then we have already received.

If you ever want to see what a board looks like with subforum OVERLOAD... go check out a place like www.cowboyspride.net (this is not a site whore crack just a fact that this place has too damn many places in it... and it's a pain in the ass to read a forum with FOUR sub-forums on Cowboys news ALONE
