Zubrus no doubt..Elias needs that Big Center that'll make places(Ala Arnott Days..) And the PZL line has a great chemistry between them.

As per usual with the newbie posters this is kind of a moot point....Parise's chemistry with the second line and lack of ability (as of now atleast) would never lead him to center a line much less the top line....if that were the case then Zubrus wouldn't have been signed but rather a winger with the same skill set...
and remember kids....think....then post....not the other way around

i agree 100% the second line has perfect chemistry and i would be stupid to break it up

Noone works harder or deserves to be on the 1st line more than Zach. But the 2nd line with JL, TZ and ZP has great chemistry. I haven't watched Zubrus much, But in Lou we trust.

I put Parise even though I'm almost positive it'll be Zubrus, but Gio and Parise do pretty well together.

Parise and Zajac is magic. Eventually they will be this teams first line. the two together is a combination, i wouldnt want to seperate them.

The second line of Parise, Zajac and Langenbrunner will not be broken up it appears since they were the best line for the Devils last season. Zubris will play on the Elias and Gionta top line and should get both Elias and Gionta going. I think Zubris will be better on this line with Elias and Gionta.

PZL was the Devils first line last year. They were our only consistent scoring threat.

The Devils, IMO, are going to make an effort to rest players this season so I think we'll see Parise play some center this season when some guys are either hurt or getting a night off.
For the questions I start Zubrus centering the first line since PZL was so effective last season. I think you have to mix it up during the year just to see what else works as well.

Zubrus for sure. A good playmaker with size sure to bump up the numbers for Elias.

Parise isn't a center and there is no reason to break-up our best line.
I think Zubrus starts out as #1, but I can see Lou looking to find a better and cheaper to play between Elias and Gionta.

I think it has to be Zubrus. Zubrus is big and is a good forechecker, so I think he will be able to create some room for Elias and Gionta. On the other hand, Parise is a very good player but I don't think he would be able to clear up the ice for Elias and Gionta like Zubrus could.

zubrus...parise-zajac-langenbrunner line is gonna play together in years to come...so they should let them build on the chemistry started last year...zubrus is a nice fit with elias

Since Lou is obviously trying to make the Devils a more physical team I think Zubrus will be on the first line, but I also think Clarkson will be on the wing with Parise and Zajac.

Jaime is physical enough, keep the top 2 lines as is.
