"The Yankees just announced that they obtained Jose Molina from the Los Angeles Angels for right-handed pitcher Jeff Kennard

Also, it has been announced by the Yankees that Nieves will be designated for assignment.

Good moves by Cashman.

Although, they are still far off from the playoffs the Yankees have put together a nice run as of late and if they can continue to win series they can make a serious run for the wild card. Below is a list of series that they need to win to stay in contention, it has also been updated as recent as todays two games. We have called this group "The Run" on nyyfans.com and so far it has been a successful run.

Well, they certainly needed an upgrade there. But I'm sure Mussina will find something else to bitch about.

The wind blew ferociously making the icy sky feel even colder. And then a few white snow flakes floated down from heaven creating a winter wonderland.

Figures I finally get comments on my piece and it's about the Rangers.
