What the heck is going on with all these birthdays?
Can't you just let The Ageless One enjoy a well-deserved sabbatical?
As the HOS likes to say: This is Iggy's world, the rest of us are just paying rent!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
P.S. By the way, the HOS is right. Young man, that pornographic material has got to go! And no, you may not send it to NJay!

"The Stanley Cup has fallen from the Stars. The new millennium has its first Stanley Cup Champion, and it's the New Jersey Devils." Mike Miller calling the Devils winning the Stanley Cup.
"It goes to the captain and then there are handoffs during a skate around the ice" Mike Emrick as Scott Stevens is being presented the Stanley Cup.

"He has no ego," says Lou Lamoriello, general manager of the New Jersey Devils. "I don't think he has a selfish bone in his body. It gets infectious with people around him, but that's Joe. Having him here was something very special."
------------------------------------------------------------------------
And the simple truth is this -- before and after Joe Nieuwendyk, this franchise has not been as good. Yes the same could be said for others, but Nieuwendyk's effect on his team, on his team's best players, on the fans and in the community can only be compared to, well, what Jarome Iginla is doing now in Calgary. Unfortunately I'm not doing much to celebrate tonight since it's a Monday... I've got work to do for tomorrow's classes, plus meetings and such to attend to tonight. Oh well... I'll just have to wait until this weekend.
It's certainly been a busy day in the NHL though... and so far I like the moves the Devils are making. Now it's just a question of whether the big move will happen today or tomorrow, IMO.
Thanks again for the birthday wishes. And I'll take this opportunity to again comment on how great this site is, how great the Admins are, and how awesome my fellow posters are. Love comin' here, love postin' here, love lurkin' here some days, even (what can I say, Googer is my idol

"They are the loudest and most loyal students in the country. They call this place Happy Valley?
That's an understatement tonight. This is definitely the best place on Earth. I have seen Paternoville,
I have seen these students...there is nothing like this in the country."
