He played in the Finals in Indiannapolis?(I can't remember the tournament..)And he played against Nadal in the 3rd round/Quarter-Final in the Rogers Cup here in Montreal.(He won one set vs Nadal.)

He'll play the first round vs Marat Safin, in the Us Open.

I'm with TZ in hoping Fran Dancevic can do some damage. There was another Canadian in the tournament...well he has Canadian and American citizenship, but plays as an American named Jesse Levine. He was born in Ottawa and I used to go to school with him and we had some mutal friends. I believe he was making his grand slam debut and got killed by 4th rank Nikolay Davydenko, 6-4 6-0 6-1.

Well my bad luck continues. Hantuchova lost today and now two of my favorite players are out. As long as Sharapova wins this I will be happy and all the pain will be gone. Another positive is I think I found another player I will like to follow, Mathilde Johansson. Of course she lost but it was against Hingis and I really liked how hard she played.

Nadal is fighting off two nasty knee injuries and really struggled today. I actually thought Jones would be able to upset him if Nadal's knees got any worse. I don't think Nadal will make it past the quaters in this tournemant.

That Radek Stepanek - Novak Djokovic match was amazing, going into a fifth set tie breaker where Djokovic won. One of the best matches I have ever seen.

Anyone see the Blake-Santoro match last night? That was a lot of fun to watch. Santoro has every shot in the book and every trick as well. It was nice to see Blake pull out a five setter. He needed it for his confidence.

Radwanska just defeated Sharapova and that entire part of the bracket is open. There is no clear cut favorite and we should see a new faces in the quarterfinals.

What a match that was. Will go down in history as the "Stinky Shoes" match. I saw a lot of Stepanek at the Montreal tournament and he is nuts. He is off the wall but enjoyable to watch. There has been some great tennis so far in the early rounds.

Peer just defeated Vaidisova in what has been the best woman's match of the tournemant. It went to a gripping third set tie break. Sucks for me because I wanted Vaidisova to win. It seems all the people I want to win so far just lose.

Well, given that it was his first time behind the mike, kind of understandable since he was trying to get in a lot of points. He did have some good observations on Federer and how he "squeezes you" out there.

That was a great match for two sets and Andy played very well. Federer is just so tough on the big points and his court movement and defense is what separates him.

Djokovic would have a shot if that's the final. He beat him a couple of weeks ago even though it was best of 3.
