Lou's got brass ones, but not enough to do an interview before the game with a trade pending and then say that nothing was odne because he could not make the team better.

Why would Lou basically lie his way through the whole interview? That doesn't seem to make sense. Wouldn't he say there's a deal pending with the league, and that he wouldn't give specifics?
