Figured it was time to get this thread started. Who do you guys think will win? I'm picking Red Sox in 6.
I'd give the Indians a better shot if Wedge would take Borowski out of the closer's role. I'm afraid he's gonna kill them. But Wedge won't do that. I like Red Sox in 6, too.

Ramirez and Ortiz were on base something like 19-26 in the ALDS. If they keep up silly numbers like that and their pitching continues to be ridiculous, who can beat them?

I like Carmona and Sabathia...Indians offense can go toe-to-toe with the Red Sox...Borowski scares me...but Indians middle relief is a decisive advantage in this series.

So with my heart I will say Sox in 6 and I will have to watch that in Montreal.

I think you make a good point. The first two games are full of great pitching matchups with Beckett vs. Sabathia, Schilling vs. Carmona. I think those two games are key for both teams. I think they will both be a split but if either team wins both they are in a great position considering how hit or miss the starters from there on out for both teams are. I'd say Red Sox win game 1, lose game 2 and then find a way to win 3 more while losing one more for a 6 game win.Red Sox have to take one of the first two games. I would hate to see them waste a JOsh Beckett start. Schilling is hit or miss. Dice-K is an adventure everytime out. Wakefield being not 100% I don't know what to think. The bats have to stay hot as they were in the DS.
So with my heart I will say Sox in 6 and I will have to watch that in Montreal.

TONIGHT it just became a "good" series. A "WICKED GOOD" game tonight!!!This is turning into a good series. Indians prevailed 4-2 last night as Westbrook did the job and Borowski got them 1-2-3. Cleveland up 2-1.

BRYD TAKES HGH!! "Talk about gamesmanship", how about this report coming the same day as game 7?? http://sports.espn.g...tory?id=3072845I was amused the Indians had Beckett's ex-girlfriend (some country singer) sing the anthem before Game 5. Talk about gamesmanship, that'd be like the Rangers trotting out Melanie to sing before a playoff game lol
