Sunday October 28:
Colts at Panthers:

What to look for:
I think Vinny Testaverde and Peyton Manning are pretty close on the NFL all time passing yardage list… but I think one needed like a thousand more years then the other… but let’s be fair here… as Vinny Mac would say the Panthers got NO CHANCE IN HELL in this one.. it’s merely a tune-up for Super Bowl .5 next week! (Rating: * ½)

Lions at Bears:
What to look for:
…. Oh MY!!! The Bears saved their season last week by snuffing out any chance of hope for the Eagles this year, while the Lions held on to beat down Tampa Bay last week…if the Bears can pull this out they are right back in the mix for the NFC Playoff Scheme and Brian Griese is getting better each week it seems (first the Tight Ends… and now the Receivers are getting into it)… the winner of this game is going to be taken seriously in the NFC, while the loser shall be just another joke! (Rating: ** ½)

Steelers at Bengals:
What to look for:
The Bengals seemed to have righted the ship with a big win last ….week… err.. wait… it was the Jets… nevermind! The Steelers have to feel a bit pissed off after coming back in that game to only let Jason Elam kick the win away from them… I can’t take the Bengals seriously until they get to .500… or move to the NFC… should be a fun game to watch at least! (Rating: ***)

NY Giants vs Miami at London:
What to look for:
Rodger Goodell and all the NFL Weasels kissing up and apologizing for putting such a BRUTAL game on the national…. Hell… INTERNATIONAL stage… I’d so love to pick Miami to win this one… but Cleo Lemon… Doug Chapman ?? Holy sh!t… the only thing that beats the Giants in this one would be the Giants, which I suppose IS possible… but I ain’t buying on it…..least I’m not missing the whole week with “Christmas in October!” (Rating *, I can only hope Tony Siragusa doesn’t clear customs and is LEFT in England!)

Eagles at Vikings:
What to look for:
Both teams took brutal losses last week, as I said before about the Eagles… and the Vikings saw who’s the #1 contender in the NFC the hard way last week… but I seriously love the Vikings in this one… their defense will press McNabb (who looks shot) and stuff Westbrook….even with the horrific Kelly Holocomb (the sad part is there are 10 QBs not only playing but STARTING who are worse then him playing!)… the Vikings should dispose of the Eagles quite easy! (Rating: *)

Browns at Rams:
What to look for:
People keep saying the Rams gotta win SOME time… I only ask why? In a year where half the teams in the league are bad, if you are a bad team in that pool you must be HIDEOUS… this is such a team.. Bulger looks shell shocked behind that crap line and for some dumb reason they are rushing Steven Jackson back into action (like he can save this mess)… and the Browns are playing good, exciting football and want to keep it going… the Rams have no chance in God’s Blue, Green and Polluted Earth! (Rating ** ½, only cause I need Anderson and Edwards to match Brady and Moss… HA)

Raiders at Titans:
What to look for:
Well certainly NOT a Kerry Collins Homecoming!!! The Raiders had some early momentum this year, but it seems to have fizzled while the Titans played the fun game of the week last week with the Texans and seem to be riding high with their running game in full swing, Vince Young back and this team again believing in itself… and the Raiders are only keeping the seat warm for Russell anyway, don’t give the Raiders much hope here…. (Rating: **)

4pm:
Bills at Jets:

What to look for:
Oh the pain!! Will Vilma play.. is he really hurt?? This whole saga with Mangini is about as retarded as the Yankee Manager Search which is getting WAY too much air play on the radio this week…now the Jets can’t stop anyone on defense and maybe this is the week Lee Evans reminds fantasy owners who he is (which reminded me to re-sign him in the money league!)… I can’t I really can’t see the Jets winning this one and the massive cocktease begins in Buffalo! (Rating: *)

Houston at San Diego:
What to look for:
Will Matt Schaub play? Will the people who attend this game get burned alive (or better will they try to toss Norv Turner into the California Wild Fires)… how many times will Tomlinson see the ball... will Chris Chambers be a factor? As you can imagine I can’t see the Texans coming back from such a ROUGH loss last week and the Chargers seems to be righting the ship finally….. I see no reason to look otherwise here…. (Rating: ** ½)

Jacksonville at Tampa:
What to look for:
Good God will the Jags even try to throw the ball ten times this week?? They better not with this Earl Grey Tea Bum they have under center with Garrard on the shelf… Tampa seems to live a charmed life to get these kinda teams when they are easy to beat up on… and Tampa Bay at home and healthy…yeah I’ll take that over a Jacksonville team that is more one-dimensional then an NJDevs Game thread! (Rating: * ½)

Washington at New England:
What to look for:
Call me what you want, I seriously think the Redskins have a chance in this one… I know.. no passing TDs to the WR’s… I know the Patriots are invulnerable… but this is the kind of perfect trap game to look for… big game next week… solid team this week… the bye after… all we need is some bad weather and the Redskins may have a shot in this one… in reality… probably not… but my gut feelings usually hit gold…so I am sticking to them! (Rating: ** ½)

Saints at 49ers:
What to look for:
With a win this week the Saints will be 3-4 and right back in the mix in the NFC South (that still scares me) and you know it’s bad for the 49ers when they are embracing Average-at-Best Smith with open arms in hopes he can save this bad joke of an offense!! The Saints just believe in themselves too much at this point and the Niners crashed and burned long long ago! (Rating: *)

Monday:
Packers at Denver:

What to look for:
Umm… well the Rockies should be done by then at least…. And then people can start getting on that asshat Shanahan, who’s really crashed the ship in Denver… the Packers are stumbling back to Earth and still can’t run the ball for diddly, they play good defense and if Favre can play within himself… he might be good enough to win this one, how the hell does Denver get all these home games in a row anyway??? (Rating: **)

Crusher

is this an inside joke or does he really think that's your board name? :)

as far as your "analysis" mostly dead on...but you do realize that next weeks clash of the titans is against two AFC teams and at best would be considered a preview of the AFC championship and not "Super Bowl .5" right? :)

It's his cheap ass skank beer talking

Yeah I know... but much like back in the 90s when Dallas and SF played it was considered the "real Super Bowl"... peope are calling this Pats/Colts game the same so it's why I called it half a Super Bowl B )

There's just so many BAD teams in football now!! :argh: :argh:

Yeah , because the Cinci DEF is so bad, wouldn't surprise me to see FAST WILLIE Running over them... I went on a Bengal forum, and all their fans were like: " YES, WE'RE GOING TO BEAT THE STEELERS, 31-20!!!" I responded.. " BIG WHOOP!! WOOT!, you guys beat the Jets, who are in the bottom worst teams in the NFL.

UNDERDOG: No, I just find it funny, calling Crasher, Crusher... Crusher, sounds better IMO. You sound like a little bastard, big guy, :D

Because of the Crash line, which was... Madden-Holik-McKay.

:P

Well.... The Bengals beat the Jets right? Who have no DEF at all, Neither a CONSISTENT OFF.. And guess what? 38-31 Bengals.

?

Now they're going to face a Fast Willie/Big Ben in good shape, with a questionable O-line vs a Struggling DEF that has to put Geathers to the LB position..Not to say that the DEF, I'm pretty sure are just ashamed of the last game perform they gave vs Broncos..Now, they should rebound vs the Bengals, who are missing the " PUZZLE" of their OFF..Chris Henry.. This guy has the 3rd-tiers Corners Backs vs him, and he could be a number one WR in any other team, which leaves more oppurtinities for Palmer.

How about the Bengals will have to pass, since a the Steelers hadn't allowed a 100yard Rusher for the last. .. 48games? Well, since 2005, vs the Colts and EDGERIN JAMES.

So you think a Struggling O-line/Struggling Rushing, will surpass an healthy DEF ? I don't think so..

The Bengals will play with their heart, same goes for the Steelers, but I have to give the edge to the Steelers.. They are much, much, much healthier than the Bengals are, .. And , if the Steelers were going to face a Healthy Bengal team, then.. The score would be more closer.

31-17 Steelers.

Palmer might still hate the Steelers... But it has been proven, that both teams for the last 2seasons, have won one game on their Opposite home rival.(YUP.)

Now ITS THE TIME TO PUT DOWN THOSE BUNGALS!!

5-2

vs

2-5..

And next WEEK, its tha RAVENS!!!

We have to win both of these games , otherwise, you give a chance for our opposite rivals to bite us in the ass, and burry us for the AFC NORTH TITLE.

See, Lambert would kick your ass, CRASHER!!! :koolaid:

Upset special: Jets over Bills

Why? Cause Buffalo really isn't that good and whenever these teams play, they usually split the series.

I hope the Giants remember to show up today.

Wow. That was ugly.

NFL: Let's send two teams to an unplayable mud field.

Great job.

Still not an excuse for how poor Coughlin's team played. The playcalling stunk. You couldn't throw on that field for sh!t. At least Jacobs had a good game. Tiki who?

The D couldn't tackle either on that field. Terrible lack of discipline.

Well, it felt like a loss but got to take it and move on and get ready for the big 1st place showdown in two weeks.

Seahawks with the bye but looking good for them so far. Rams lose again (as if they're relevant) and SF is down 24-0 at the half. Who needs to play well when your division sucks?

Good news for Clown, the Bills are back to 4-4. The bad news is they don't play the Jets anymore :P

As much as I want Clemens to succeed I'm glad Jet fans got what they deserved with that pick late. Yes Chad wasn't any good but at least he didn't make the mistakes that Mangini and Schottenheimer did in the playcalling. Why Thomas Jones isn't used more is an utter mystery.

I do hope Mangini isn't stubborn enough to play Chad again next week though, it'll be an even uglier, deader atmosphere next week in the stadium. You're 1-7, a switch wouldn't be seen as blaming Chad anymore, just give up the ghost already. The Jets aren't even going to make the playoffs at 9-7 really. Just play the kid and be done with it, give him more than half a season.

"The Devils have high standards, that's the difference. We have a standard to live up to every year, and a couple of teams in our area don't have the standards we do." - Pat Burns

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

Vrabel with another great game... forced 3 fumbles and yet another TD reception.

I wonder how many points they could put up if they could videotape the opponents signals?

Speaking as a Patriots fan, I'm getting sick of this "Brady, Brady, Brady" sh!t. Brady was good, but not great, last year with no receivers. This year he has a great cast around him that don't seem to be getting any of the credit. I guess it's like watching the Devils in 2004 - every away game it was "Brodeur, Brodeur, Brodeur" with little respect given to the cast around him.
