I like the Pond, nice cozy arena. The Pond in Anaheim usually has about 13,000 fans and it seems loud, but then again it not a cavernous tin can like CAA.
As far as renovating CAA, a useful renovation would probably cost just as much as a new arena. They should just build one adjacent to the CAA, kinda like they did with the FU Center, except they can demolish the CAA when the new one is done.

Even if they got the arena in Newark some of us believed they would sell the Devils but to an out of towner for an out of town move.
As for Lou, his years are numbered with the Devils anyway.
Devils can't draw.............................Period
"Bring Them On" sure George, your arrogant "my way or the highway" policies and remarks pissed the Iragi off more... 32 unnecessary US military deaths so far since G. W.'s remarks and dozens are wounded. It continues daily. Thanks Goerge. There are now 10-25 attacks against US soldiers daily.
Smart mouth, arrogant Bush, his kids are safe.
The BUCK never stops at BUSH if it's bad, he finds someone to take the blame for him, ie: Tenet's mea cupa.
Impeach G. W., the Iraq war was built on his lies...... lies........lies.
Do Not Re-Elect a Son of a Bush. Impeach him instead.

Ah the joys of Miami Arena. A GREAT place to watch a game from. Back in 96 when the panthers made their run it got so loud in there the building would shake. Now that is a playoff atmosphere any team would love.2 of loudest arena's in NHL history, Miami Arena and Boston Garden, both seated about 14,500. But everything was packed so tight and close to the ice, the noise level was deafening.
"We always joke about it now," Madden said. "Jay tells me: 'You shut me down that game and you've been shutting me down ever since. The only problem is, now you're playing with me. ' "

I believe when they renovated MSG games were still being played there. They did most of the work during the summer.Think they would do what the Yanks did back when Yankee Stadium was remodeled, they went to Shea and played?
.............Oh ..........errr........that's right summers tend to be longer at MSG!
