Oh come on.. no one watched the Bears/Redskins game :P
But anyway... we're getting to the fantasy football playoffs now, and the nitty gritty in the regular season (only 3 weeks left!! :evilcry: :evilcry: ) .. might as well enjoy the precious football Sundays left!!!

Sunday December 9:
Miami at Buffalo:

Oh sweet merciful CRAP here…while Miami will always have some minor interest to see if they can win A game this year… and Buffalo is still pushing the 6th playoff spot (don’t be telling me how much better the AFC is when you have a team like THIS talking playoffs either :P) … and really… seriously… forget Brett Hull in the crease…. Forget Scott Norwood… forget the beatings by Dallas… nah don’t forget those… this could be the most tragic moment in Buffalo Sports HISTORY if they screw this one up!! Rating * ½

Dallas at Detroit:
Boy oh BOY… revenge game much here… the Cowboys lost to them in the last week of the year last year (all I know about this game is it was the disaster getting back from Houston and that crap ass Texas Bowl, what a mess that was…. I get back to the bar just in time to turn around… see Owens drop the ball in the end zone… game over… gimmie shot!).. so anyway… Detroit wins the game and the Lions come out and talk a LOT of trash (and yes it’s BAD to lose to a 3-13 team, but that is Parcells for you).. but lead by John Kitna a LOT of stupid things were said last year about the game from the Lions.. HELLO YOU HAD THE SECOND PICK IN THE LEAGUE… shut the Farooq™ UP! And anyway… not only is payback a BITCH, but John Kitna now has a GIANT Dallas Cowboy Bulls-eye on their back and players like Terrance Newman had this game CIRCLED since pre-season… and hell hath no fury more then an Angry Dallas Cowboy (well unless you piss me off)… and no Roy Williams and the league already warned Newman.. don’t kill Kitna, no matter how much he deserved it… this could be a really fun squash this week! Rating ** ½

Carolina at Jacksonville:
Carolina comes in on a smoking hot one-game-we-ain’t-lost-streak, and the Jags are licking their wounds from their “almost” last week.. but are still in good shape with the Wild Card and a playoff spot as is…. Carolina’s got nothing to play for but a draft pick, and the Jags have something… that’s usually enough to smack a team around this time of year… Rating * ½

Raiders at Packers:
Well the Raiders are on a two game win streak again (thanks to the awful AFC Worst run), but now they go to Green Bay to be the sacrificial lamb to play the Packers after the Cowboys pounded them like VEAL last week *grins*… the Raiders ain’t got the offense, defense OR special teams to keep with the Pack and unless they wear a silver helmet and navy blue star on the helmet… yeah ain’t nothing helping them today…even if Favre doesn’t play.. but he WILL.. Rating **

Rams at Bengals:
This one could be Farooqed ™ enough up to actually watch! The Rams are bouncing back as a nice offensive team, and the Bengals couldn’t stop Mike Rupp offensively at this point… there might be a LOT of points in this one if the weather is nice, and like I said I may watch this to see 60 points to be put on the board.. and oh yeah… the Rams will win.. Rating ***

Chargers at Titans:
Ohhh.. this could be the game of the week here!! The Titans are still solid and trying to get the Bills out of the damn playoffs, and San Diego can do what they do best.. half-ass it and get into the playoffs! I’m really interested in seeing how this one turns out though, both teams are 7-5, both teams can run the ball, both teams have Spotty Jones at the QB, but I can’t take the Chargers serious until I see them WIN some of these damn games, but it will be fun to watch… possible game of the WEEK here… Rating *** ½

Tampa Bay at Houston:
So now I hear Joey Galloway ain’t playing with a toe injury… lovely….I’d really like to see Houston win this one and I don’t know about the status of Garcia and all… but I just can’t get myself to get a good feel about this one (more so if Schaub is out also)… let’s be honest… this one probably gonna suck, but hey Tampa needs the game more… bank on them… Rating *1/2

Giants at Eagles:
Now let’s see the Giants try to pull what they did the last time WITH Bran Westbrook in the line-up (and maybe AJ Feeley… I know he sucked last week but McNabb is done, buried and FINISHED… least in Phily :P)… while the Giants have been stumbling and falling all over their face all over the place since that brutal Miami game… you’d like to think that Giants should still win this one, but hell that would make the NFC a little more clear cut, and we’re all about muddying the waters ain’t we? B )…. I think the Eagles got some fight left in them and they are usually good in December too… Rating ** ½

4pm:
Arizona at Seattle:

If the Cardinals have any delusions on winning the NFC Worst, then they HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE win this damn game, but that’s a tall order with no Fitzgerald (just be READY for my damn playoff game next week would ya?) and no Boudlin either as both got hurt last week…. I really have no faith in Seattle either, maybe Kurt Warner can pray his way through this one? I dunno… wish I had a coin to flip, but I’ll be generous and hope for some intensity here… Rating ** ½

Vikings at 49ers:
Gahhhh… and the Niners just lost to the awful Panthers at home too… boy is Adrian Peterson gonna run the piss out of them this week (I hope), and this should be a one sided slaughter… the Vikings are growing as a passing team, they run the ball like champs, and play run defense… while the Niners got SQUAT.. break out the veal… it’s getting pounded here!! Rating *

Browns at Jets:
Well this might be a Jet game I actually PAY ATTENTION TO… well besides the beating the Cowboys put on them, but that doesn’t count! But I do love watching the Browns play and they are the most fun team in the NFL to watch… usually this is the kinda game you worry about an up and coming team like them slipping in and losing, but they’re gonna be rather pissed about how that Winslow force-out cost them last week and they need to win this to keep their lead in the wild card hunt, either way should be at least worth a few laughs and looks this weekend! Rating **

Chiefs at Broncos:
Egads, bad meets worse in the AFC West this week… the Chiefs look about finished despite the emergence of guys like Kolby Smith, Brody Croyle, and Jared Allen being awesome on offense AND defense now… amazing the talent for a 4-win team isn’t it (all about the idiot with the headset), and the Broncos ain’t much better… least they get Travis Henry for the rest of the year… until his knee goes out, right? I guess the mutual incompetence makes the game fun at least right? Rating ** ½

Steelers at New England:
Well this should be game of the week worthy too… let’s see how the Steelers run with the big boys in the NFL, more so after that dopey 5th string safety was talking smack about how he was Messier-guaranteeing a win this week… IDIOT!!! The Pats have been struggling of late with weather and other things, but the LAST thing you wanna do is awaken that BEAST … and now you have… so the beatdown begins, good thing our resident Tin Foil Curtain fan drinks the CHEAP BEER… holy hell is he gonna NEED IT … Rating *** (I’m gonna enjoy this pounding)

8pm:
Colts at Ravens:

I can’t see the Ravens playing THAT inspired balls-out mad-crazy defense like they did last week twice in a row.. they ain’t that good anymore.. weather looks like rain but no crazy-ass winds (thank GOD I need a big game from whichever QB I decide to chuck out there…hrmmm.. Favre vs. Raiders or Manning vs Ravens)…. And not to mention the Ravens played their souls out and LOST last week… this could be ugly this week for them, not that the Colts will run the score up… they just SHOULD!! Rating **

Monday December 10:
Saints at Falcons:

OK, so you’re watching this game cause you have Drew Brees and Reggie Bush and you’re trying to make a playoff run… I understand that…. At least you should be in as good a shape as you can expect coming into this game! The Falcons got nothing, but the Saints are as pathetic as most teams in the NFC, so that means you got a playoff shot… turn the sound OFF on this one… it could get ugly… hell watch the Devils game instead and rely on stat tracker…. Rating *

Pay homage to the INCREDIBLE scoring goalie!!!! :-)

I saw CRASHER trip a kid on skates and then he stole the kids lunch money and slapped his mom when she came to pick him up.. All because the kid looked at his crease

Mainly because as with the Colts (and in a smaller circle, the Cowboys) people thought those teams had a shot to beat the Pats....The Steelers are now in that group (Hell I even think they'll win honestly) but that also usually means it'll be a blowout and not in the Yellow and Black's favor....

Last year we abused Manning and the Colts, only to be outdone by our own coaches terrible play calling.

Maybe the Colts can score a touchdown on us this year.

that was the playoffs and I think you guys blew your load last week and still lost, that's hard to get back from more so on a defense that lives on the emotion

(and dammit I need Manning to be as good as Romo this week :P)

Or should I play Favre vs the Raiders?? grrr

Eh they still might :P The Patriots can score in 15 minutes the number of points it would take your team 60 to get.

"The Devils have high standards, that's the difference. We have a standard to live up to every year, and a couple of teams in our area don't have the standards we do." - Pat Burns

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

 I almost ripped my couch, broke my cell phone, and shattered my remote in that game. When Witten fumbled the ball on the goal line i took off my Witten jersey and chucked it. I went to find it and wear it proudly about 10 minutes later

To quote the great Terrence Newman, "Don't write checks your ass can't cash". You got too hyped up, amped up, and overconfident, that your Steelers would beat the Patriots*. But the "Any given sunday" thing is still here, so don't crown the Patriot*'s asses yet, because we still have a long season left for teams like Dallas, Green Bay, Indianapolis, and Pittsburg for that matter.

I've never said the Steelers would beat them, it would be close.(But, it a certain way, I knew they would get beaten.)

I'm just too sick and tired with all the Patriots talk being the best team ever, B.B being the best HC, all the undefeated talk..

Better bow down to them right now than in February.

There's always hope that my Steelers would beat the patriots... A slime chance.

I've said it, it was going to be a close one. Guess I was wrong.
