All universities have listings of all programs and faculties on their websites, so right there..If you applied to a school and they dohn't have that kind of stuff on their site...it's probably not a university..but a cult

i see community college in your future.. jk Lancer. It can be difficult to actually know what you're looking for..seriously, i was so confused when i started university and i had already graduated from a college. NOw I must look like I know what I'm doing because the clueless people always seem to ask me where things are..
Seriously you're best bet when you go to register for your classes is to take courses from different areas...seriously you may find that say, zoology isn't what yu thought it would be but maybe you love writing courses, or something in the humanties like sociology...
Any type of math= easy exams with no essays, Science, well i dunno, haven't filled that requirement yet cause i suck, anything to do with humanities have killer papers, I just got one back that was 28 pages

UND might be a nice idea...there is a ton of great hockey in that area, Minneapolis / St Paul is only about an hour away and Fargo itself has a pretty decent downtown area. If I'm not mistaken, both Parise and Zajac came from UND, so it can't be all bad j/k
Just don't go anywhere outside that area...there is nothing out there except for the flatest streches of land you'll ever see and a few Native American casinos.
Just beware that it's cold in North Dakota...extremely cold. North Dakota is one of the windest places in North America and you feel it. I spent a week in Fargo last year and when we landed in beautiful Hector International Airport, which has a total of 4 gates...not 4 terminals, not 4 sections...4 gates, it was a whopping -1 degrees. We landed at noon. Overnight it dropped to a balmy -23.
Congrats on your acceptances!

Grand Forks is over 300 miles from Minneapolis. Only way you'll get there in an hour is by plane. You are spot on about the cold though. I was there for the WJC a few years ago. Never been so cold in my life. Also, keep in mind that ND has crazy limits on alcohol sales. You need to go into MN to get stuff a lot of the time.
If you are going there to play hockey or are from ND I understand, but I would never want to spend a full winter there.

Thanks. I just got accepted to my first choice college the other day, so I think I'm going there.
But I reallyyyyy wanted to go to UND. But ... who knows I might end up going there because I was told I may need to go to school for 8 years to become a zoologist. Yeah something like that.
