How do you hate Gionta but want Stoll? Stoll is an even worse one season wonder than Gionta. At least Gio continues to at least reach 40 points a year. Stoll only did that the year they went to the finals.

I think that's pretty reasonable. And I think we can get 4 solid lines out of that, maybe alternate Langs and Zubrus.

I really don't like the idea of Vrana as a first line center right now. He didn't exactly light up the AHL. I know the surrounding cast was weak, but I don't see anything that says he's a number 1 center right now.
And Tallackson has gotten enough chances and shown little. I'd rather plug Pelley or Sarge in his place.
Also, no love for Pando? That makes me sad.

The only lineup presented that's a bonafide improvement and corrects our biggest weakness...goals. All the others we are no better off scoring wise than we were this past year. I don't like the thought of losing Oduya, but you have to give up something to get something. Unfortunately, I don't think a package of Gionta and Johnny would be enough.

With the way I've watched Lou operate over the years, it wouldn't shock me one bit to see Holikenstein reappear in a Diablos uni.
