What the HELL is Tampa doing to get these players? Drugs aren't even this efficient.
These guys realize that they're signing with the Lightning and not the Rays, right?

Scary team? They're signing free agents galore, but they're still going to be the sh!tty team they always were. Take it from the Rangers, spending dough doesn't equal chemistry.
Exactly, this looks like a team who game plan is sign everyone with any rationale. Their D is a huge question mark, and they have goalie who is untested full-time and now a goalie who should have retired three years ago.

They will score alot and get scored on alot..
2nd round exit.. and then they won't make the playoffs at all while Melrose is there.

Yeah, they must be trying to give their fans the impression that they are making a contender with all these moves.Exactly, this looks like a team who game plan is sign everyone with any rationale. mike smith is gonna be a good player. i think this is a goood move for tampa
Smith is a good goalie, but moving from a Defense first team like Dallas, to a "defense, when?" type of team like Tampa, may hurt him.
