Wasn't there some cases of an ex-NHL emplyee (I'm thinking Devils) who "altered" some of the X-Mas tree gamers several years back and then resurfaced recently? Not saying that is the case with this one but buyer beware.

I've read and heard of these in numerous places. I think he was an old equipment manager or something.

I believe your right on that...an equipment guy of some kind and he recently (might still) have some stuff on eBay.

It does not seem that the seller knows to much about the hobby. He puts the wrong season at first, then shows a picture of Madden in a red jersey from 2000, not to mention I don't think there was a set date on the auction page either.
