I saw Jester posted something with an embedded Youtube video. On other forums I have seen the tags, but they don't seem to work here. So how did Jesters get posted?

The News feeds use straight HTML which is the old embed codes <embed </embed
You have to enable html when you post in the options.

I always just assumed that the admins didn't want people posting vids like that because they took up too much bandwith or whatnot.

The video is streamed from Youtube's servers so there should be minimal impact on us.

Okay I added youtube tags. It is under the quick access on the left panel. Only paste the Video code in there not the full URL.
Example
http://www.youtube.c...feature=related
should be inserted as
