would it better if he broke it there or at home? either way its pretty cool but the islanders ruined it i guess.
rags fan? isles fan? flyers fan? 1st post and you ask that? It's good the Devils lost in NY, Isles didn't ruin anything. If fact they did us a favor so we can enjoy this record at home!!!

I think tying in Montreal and breaking it at the Rock is perfect
I think that too. This way we both get to celebrate him.
Devils + The Prudential Center = The Stanley Cup
Martin Brodeur gets win #500 11-17-07
Martin Brodeur gets win #552 3-17-09. I was there.
Doc Emrik's "they're josling in the corner", Elias' team record 365th assist, and Devils' 12th Dec 2008 8-5 win over the Rags. Clarkson's "Gordie Howe hat-trick" against the panthers on 2-28-09. The "A" Line. Marty's 100th career shutout. Zubrus's game winner over the Rags (09/22/09).

Ruined it? Ha, ha!! It's the only thing the Icelanders have done right in over a quarter of a century!
There is no better scenario than the record being tied up in Montreal, Marty's hometown and Roy in attendance. That standing ovation, the game's first star. Beautiful!
Now the Devs come home for Marty to set the record at The Rock!
We should probably do something for the Icelanders as a thank you before they bolt Long Island for Hartford or Quebec City.
"The difference between the Devils and the Rangers? Simple. The Devils are chasing another Stanley Cup title. The Rangers? Well, they're just trying to win a hockey game."

As much as I wanted to see it in MOntreal I think this is the best way for it to happen.
