I like the potential of his ability to develop these young kids that we will be using this year.
I also give him him the benefit of the doubt that he knows that goals need to be scored. Not every game can be 1-0, 2-1 and so on.

another plus is Rolston thrived under Lemaire. Maybe this will bring out the best in Brian, I can garuntee Rolston gets Madden's A.

as much as I respect Lemaire, I think the game has passed him by - he's not been as readily able to adjust since the rules change post-lockout. And he doesn't have Scott Stevens anymore.
Wild point totals since the lockout:
84
104 (Gaborik played 48 games)
98
89 (Gaborik played 17 games)
I agree it's a far cry from what the Devils have done in that same span of time (only one sub-100 point season), but this isn't exactly Joe Gibbs returning to the NFL.
