What a great friggin time! Thanks again to everyone who helped make it happen. Even if your only contribution was hanging out, it was still awesome of you to do it. Facebook is being pretty crappy and not letting me upload pics right now, but I'll have mine up at some point. Jamie took some great ones and it looks like Cachorro's from outside Hell's Kitchen captured just a portion of how much fun we were all having.

A few quick stories off the top of my head.

The first thing I saw when I got to Newark Penn was a guy getting escorted out of the men's room in handcuffs. Good omen.

Also, remember my story from March about getting kicked out of a game? I ran into a guy who was sitting two rows in front of us and was one of the few people in that section sticking up for us. He said that when he tried telling security that we hadn't done anything wrong, the ugly troll girl kicked him in the back of the head. Sometimes it just doesn't pay to try to help. Good guy.

Jamie got carded so she could buy a Coke.

The other dude who told me his name was Bill flipping out at Sagres any time he got an update on the Michigan vs. Michigan State game.

Another great crawl, this time being *the* highlight of the day, as opposed to one of many highlights, lol. Just wanna send my thanks to DiG, the keeper of the Crawl as it were, for getting these going. And also to everyone who helped plan it, gave input, made the map, and all that. And to everyone for a good time.

Okay Scott relax haha. You've been yelling about this everyone. We call came into the bar and sat down. No one ordered ANYTHING and the guy asked for Jamie's ID because she looks younger. She didn't have the chance to order anything before she was proofed. And she wasn't the only person that had to take out their ID either.

But anyway, that guy wasn't happy that we were there and I felt bad for him. He had a nice little place.

MMMBello's has an amazing beer selection and I want to go get a Staropramen there ASAP.

BUT IT WAS FUNNY! I was probably like one of the older people there and was still carded. It was good times.... hahahaha Everyone thought it was funny, and I seriously don't care, it made the day entertaining.

one thing about me when I go out of my way to give the biggest bag of balls customers I have A+ service it REALLY pisses me off when I get sh!tty service... if 10 people walked into my house and asked me to fix their computers (especially when my shop was empty) I'D EMBRACE THE fvckERS!!!!! We tripled the number of people in his little joint and he wanted to treat us like we had AIDS... fvck that!!!!! That sh!t always drives me nuts and always will!! Hell it was the one stop I didn't leave a tip at... earn it!!!!!

A great time everyone! Even my Flyers fan buddy enjoyed himself, and the good-natured ball busting. Looking forward to doing it again!

I will be at the Arena Bar for a beer around 6:30 before tonights game if anyone else will be around.

Hell's Kitchen and Arena Lounge are already pretty well-known, so I won't harp on what's already common knowledge.

MMM Bello's is just a cool bar. It's right outside Newark Penn, has a really good house ale (MMM Bello's Ale ... it has a strong hop flavor, reminds me a bit of Sam Adams) and a ridiculous bottled beer selection. I think Jamie might have snapped a few photos of the chalkboards covering one wall with every beer they have. The food there is good, but on Saturday I went to Rio Criz, The Lunch Place next door for lunch. Their chorizo sandwich was unspeakably good.

Sagres is the one that came off as not being Devils fan friendly. It's just a small sidewalk bar with a small kitchen. Definitely not used to (and not prepared for) the bum rush we gave them. Probably not a bad place to stop with a much smaller group looking for drinks and food, preferably on a nice day considering how wide open the place is to the sidewalk.

Stadium Bar needs to take down the two Rangers pics they have. Other than that, it's a total sports bar. Pool table, jukebox, tons of sports photos of everyone from Ken Daneyko to Jack Lambert. Nothing special on the menu or on tap, no fancy seating or lighting or whatever. The way a good sports bar should be.
