I'm no Devils fan, but Broduer will shutout the Sens tonight. These last two games will just make the celebration that much sweeter. Btw, if the Devils do lose though, It's a choke. Up 3 games to one and losing is always a choke. I'm a Flyers fan so I know all about it.

Actually, the Philly series was VERY similar.. Devils didn't show for Game 4 and got smoked, Devils were clearly the better team, a certain elite LW didn't show for one team.. but where the Flyers failed the Devils will succeed, and Elias will show up when Leclair failed to..

The difference between the Devils and the Flyers every year it seems is that the Devils are clutch performers. I never wavered in my belief that they would win this series because they are winners in every sense of the word. I know I have Philly in my username, but I am a hockey fan as well and I appreciate when the game is played right. If I tried to discuss this series with Flyer fans, I would be called a traitor so I came on here where I may not be accepted, but I won't be run off the board either. Anyway, anyone wanna know how I think the Ducks series will play out?

I likewise humbly add my name as a non-believer. I didn't like our chances when I woke up this morning and I didn't like our chances right after the first puck dropped. I was quite sure of myself after the first goal and after Gomer shanked the open-netter!
Nevertheless, I am one very happy Devils fan! Great games from Rheaume (all the centermen really while minus Nieuwy), Stevens, Whitey, Gomer to some extent, and of course Friesen. And Broduer. But I am most happy for Friesen. He coulda been the +/- goat (and unfairly I might add), but he continued to work and Burns rewarded him with some shifts.
For all the Devils fans who were whinning at the deadline (I was not, I didn't want Selanne), Uncle Lou sure as hell comes out smelling like a rose tonight...Rheaume, Marshall, and Friesen. Lets all just hope Smelly never sees the ice in a Devils uni again!
Having said all that, remember this my fellow followers of the pitch fork and pointy tail, only this matters: 12 down and four more to go!
