Oh blah. I was secretly hoping it would encourage use of the gallery since we have to pay for it. Seems barely used.

Dang, I didn't realize you had switched to IP.Gallery, thought you were still using Coppermine.

Well, like I said...

I suppose if DM really wants it there, it's simple enough to turn back on.

IT IS VERY HARD TO WIN ONE STANLEY CUP, FORGET ABOUT THREE... and maybe it's high time some of you actually APPRECIATED THAT instead of treating it like it's some flipping birthright because for some random reason you rooted for the damn Devils!!!!! Posted Image

They send search spiders to the websites to index everything. I wanted to see how often they come, they have always been there.

I must be the last poor sap using IE8 since no one else is bringing this up. At first, I thought it was just my computer, but it happens on my work computer too.

Anyway, both the Add Reply and Fast Reply option look really funky. So does Edit. Here's what I'm talking about:

Here's what Fast Reply looks like before I click in the text box
Posted Image

And here's Fast Reply after I click in the text box
Posted Image

Here's what it looks like after I click Add Reply
Posted Image

And here's what it looks like when I try to edit one of my posts
Posted Image

I also have to click Edit twice in order to actually be able to edit one of my posts. When I click it the first time, it'll say "loading" and sometimes the text box will appear, but within seconds it'll be back to just looking like the post. When I click it a second time, the text box remains and I can edit the post.

It's weird because I have IE8 on this computer as well as the one I'm at now at work. But my last work computer also had IE8 but didn't have these problems. I just use Chrome at home now, but IE is my only option at work. And I'll be damned if I'll stay away from this site when I should be doing something productive!

You aren't the only one, DiG. It happened to me when I was trying to post at school earlier today. I figured it was just the school's way of telling me no forums on their time.

I take it the fix I just applied hasn't worked? Can you guys hit control+F5 and see if your settings are okay now.

It looks like the bug with both the Fast Reply and Add Reply is fixed. Thanks!

Edit is better now too, but still not 100%. I still have to click it twice, and now instead of having the text options (bold, italics, fonts, smileys, etc.) stuff right over top of the text box, there's this weird blank area.
Posted Image

But, all things considered, this is not that bad. It's such a huge improvement over what it was that I could totally live with it.

I have an odd glitch. When signed in peoples' post times (hour and minutes) show correctly. When I log out it sets the time back an hour.

Logged in post shows as 2 PM
Logged out the same post shows as 1 PM.

That is from daylight savings. The timezones are personalized so if you are in a different zone or in DST it will be off.

Yeah, the time's always off an hour for guests during DST. It's annoying, but as long as it's right when you're logged in, it's all good.

Only when I hit the "Todays Active Topics" thingamabob. Then there are like three pages or more worth of "tweets" to scroll thru to get to the threads. Posted Image
