Another big game early in the season for the Devils here tonight. Devils look to win their 8th straight game (5th straight on home ice) tonight and tie Washington for 1st overall in the EC. Devils would be on top with a win tonight because of less games played than Washington.

Devils are 2-0 vs. Washington beating them twice once home and in Washington. Brodeur has been outstanding and hope he keeps it going tonight. The Devils PK has been great as they are the #1 defense in the NHL right now. The Devils PK hopefully will stay solid as well against this dangerous team when they are on the PP. Third meeting of the season already and its a big one for #1 overall in the EC even though it is only November.

Tonight's game is the "Food Drive" game so make sure you bring canned goods for the needy.

Get the win tonight Devils and extend the winning streak to 8-games and have the #1 seed overall in the EC!

That's OK Colin, some poster show no respect. The odds are against the Devils keeping this win streak going, it becomes more difficult every game.

Will be up in 211 tonight. Was there on Wednesday and maybe its just me but the whole crowd seemed dead the whole night which is a shame because it could have been a very nice evening. However, I remember last year an early Saturday night game against the Caps (that great 6-5 shootout game) drew 17,000+ and was a great experience. Hopefully tonight will be one of those great nights at the Rock.

One note- since all of andy greenes points have come on the powerplay, i hope they either start involve him in the offense, or have zubrus start diving. Both of this teams are in the top ten of most penalties( thanks TMM), WSH has better PP even without ovie. But devils have a better PK, so lets hope for the best! ( puts ovie jersey in freezer)
