Our PP was bad. Our face-offs managed to be worse than our PP at horrible.
New rule: all ice shows & concerts & crap need to be cancelled whenever it interferes with the quality of the ice for a Stanley Cup Finals game. The stupid ice show last night caused them to putz around with the ice all damn day. Rotten ice.
I think the extra day off is better for us. Anaheim has momentum & hopefully, it will cool down a bit. Just no one read the paers for a few days, and we might be ok.

and this is why Marty will never be as good as Roy (41-19 in playoff OT!!!)
I hope Lou doesn't rip this team a new one, they're deflated already. And I hope Burns goes easy on them too. They must be very fragile right now. What they need is Nieuwy back to get the pumped and maybe a bone crushing hit from Stevens.

I think the two day layoff is good, give these some time to slow it down and digest these two quick losses that anaheim has given em. Its not that they played really bad, its that they have played devoid of passion. I hope they get ripped in the media.

I always thought Bobby Carpenter sucked - you bring up a great point.Speaking of the faceoff woes, what is Bobby Carpenter here for anyway if he can't teach these @#$% guys how to win a faceoff???

He got smoked by Thomas at the blueline, and didn't follow him as he rushed towards the net to find the loose puck. Then, Bingo! Game over, and White lazily drifts towards to goal with his head down. Get him off the ice!

settle that buck down. You know that putting Dano and Nieuw in the lineup will instill a whole sh!tload of passion into this team. Those guys maybe the only two left that are hungry...
Interesting how White and Tver have switched positions on the sh!tlist.
