But did you notice how bad Schwab was handling the puck? I covered my eyes with my hands every time he went back to play it. Brodeur is better than Schwabb at every facet of the game.

what? u lost me sorryOk, well at least 1 NHL team thinks Marty should start over Schwab and every other team in the league passed on signing Schwab to start for them so the NHL seems to think Marty is better than Schwab. And I like Schwab even.

Any team in the NHL could have signed Schwab to start for them but didn't
Other NHL teams would start Marty over who they start now
Therefore the NHL feels Marty is better than Scwab.

There is a difference between overhyped and "better than."hey, iam not the only one that says that marty is overhyped, alot of people say the same thing, i get the fact that corey is here for relief, but maybe the devils could do more with him
In this case a HUGE difference.
Shall we go get the stats for you. All the losses Schwab racked up when CuJo was out with injury? During that same time, Marty won at LEAST twice as many games as him.
End of discussion.

37 posts defending Brodeur after someone makes a comment, most likely to just get people riled up AGAIN.
Hey, let's all argue about Holik and Mogilny again. Those topics haven't been beaten to death yet, either.

I'm not sure the original poster realized just HOW inane what she/he was saying sounded. I never like to use the age thing but this poster really does sound 12-14 with her/his limited knowledge of the game and spelling skills. Plus, when one particular poster (Devils731) explained it pretty calmly and simply that post went right over her/his head.
The 37 posts isn't a big deal because like half of the posts are from the poster who started this topic trying to defend her/his inane comments.
The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03
