He better........ the backup goalie is so underrated....... especially when they dont play much. Schwabby deserves recognition.

Does that rule apply to backup goaltenders? Doesn't Terreri have his name on the Cup?

NO sammy...rule does not apply to back up tenders...name will be there...btw...play one game in finals gets name there also for other positions.

That's what I thought. I knew about the one game in the finals rule...but does it hafta be a full game in the case of a goaltender?NO sammy...rule does not apply to back up tenders...name will be there...btw...play one game in finals gets name there also for other positions.
Ah well, it doesn't matter...WE WON!!! and the Schwabinator will get his name on the Cup!

The tema can put any players name on the Cup if they suited up during the season, and finished on the final roster.
Look at 2000, Steve Kelly and Steve Brule are both on the Cup.

Steve Kelly played 10 games and Steve Brule played 1 game for the Devils in 2000. That's why they're on the Cup.
I believe it's 40 games or a game in the playoffs. The Devils didn't have anyone who played 40 games and missed the whole playoffs, although Christian Berglund came close. So everyone who played a game will get their name on the Cup.
