The only thing that's out of character is a big rental. We've traded for big players before (Gilmour, Mogilny) and we've sure traded for plenty of rentals but usually not a big player on the last year of his deal. Gilmour and Mogilny each had a year left.

I think whoever Lou gets is someone that wasn't in any rumors at all. That's usually his style, and I can't see him switching it up too much. Probably a decent center no one thought about.

I dunno, it's odd that the Thrashers' GM and assistant GM would come a combined three times to our games in a short period if all we were trading for was a Reasoner or Todd White type. Even Kubina probably wouldn't require this much deliberation, plus Atlanta claims they're not dumping anyway.

There is no credibilty to this what so ever but on NJ Fourms a poster claims to have a friend whos father know Kovalchucks agent's close partner and he was told by his friends father that they are just sorting the details out. No credibility but ya never know. The guy is from NJ.
